5th Multi Breed Ram Sale, LovesgroveENTRY - 159

Annual Ram Sale 29th September 2018 of the 159 rams on offer 126 were sold resulting in a clearance of 80%. The top 20 rams average 476gns.

We had several consignments from local farmers – top price ram from Mr J Davies, Cefncoch, Llanilar sold for 610 gns Lot 1084, he also sold his champion ram 1082 for 560 gns and others for 520, 480 and 450 gns.

Mr D Faulkner sold rams for 580, 550, 450 and 410 gns.

Mr T Evans, Pendre, Llanfihangel Y Creuddyn sold his consignment of Welsh rams for 510, 500, 450, 420 and 410gns.

J Rees, Goitre, Llanarth sold his Texel rams for 500, 460 and 400 gns.

Mr D Morgan, Alltgoch also sold for 440 gns.

There was also 3 pedigree Texel ewes from Mr Morris, Plas Y Fronfraith, Comins Coch sold prior to the rams through the ring, there was a strong demand with a top price of 290gns and the others sold for 210 gns.
