Responsibility

One ASP processor keep in active after locking the service unit. Ideally what happens if we lock the service unit

, the ASP goes to down state. When we lock the service unit , the ASP inactive send to the server and as

against to this ASP INACK came from the far end and as well as the ASP DOWNACK will go from the client and

ASP DOWN ACK came from the server and started a timer ,if within that period of time if the ACK does not

come than make the ASP active.

To solve this issue we started a timer for 20 seconds , if the ACK does not come then make the ASP forcefully

down. When we lock the service unit the path must be goes to restoring state which gets connected to MSC

and ASP goes down. If we unlock the maintenance state of ASP becomes active.
