My responsibilities include representing Barnes & Noble by providing excellent customer service in person and over the telephone, and keeping the products well-organized and accessible using a computer database. I am also responsible for managing a cash register and have gained some degree of experience in sales.

My primary project was to build a Wikipedia page in order to enhance the museum’s online presence. This allowed me to hone my research and writing skills in a professional setting, and gave me an introduction to the role of the internet in the museum and education industry. I also worked as an archival and curatorial assistant, and was required to have extensive knowledge of the museum’s collections and exhibits.
