ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION

When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him

understand:) 16 Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains: 17

Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his

house:

18 Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.

19 And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days! 20 But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither

on the Sabbath day:

21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the

beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. 22 And except those days should be shortened,

there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall

be shortened. Matthew 24:15-22

Two fold meaning prophecy: Destruction of Jerusalem in AD 70 and the time of the

end.

When you see Roman

soldiers around

Jerusalem, let the

Christians flee.

1.What is the abomination of

desolation?

Daniel 11:30-31

30 For the ships of Chittim shall come against him: therefore he shall be grieved, and

return, and have indignation against the holy covenant: so shall he do; he shall even

return, and have intelligence with them that forsake the holy covenant. 31 And arms shall stand on his part, and they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily sacrifice, and they shall place the

abomination that maketh desolate. Daniel 11:30-31

Note the following 7 points from the passage:

1 = The ship of shittim, coming against.2 = Griviance and indignation against the

holy covenant.3 = Intelligence with those that forsake the

ships in the sea by reason of her costliness! for in one hour is she made desolate.

In the biblical days ship was the driving force of

commerce.

Daniel states that in the last days there will be

ECONOMIC CRISIS in the MIDDLE EAST which will

trigger GLOBAL ECONOMIC RECESSION.

What is the meaning of the HOLY COVENANT and who does it connect to?

Luke 1:67-7567 And his father Zacharias was filled with the Holy Ghost,

and prophesied, saying, 68 Blessed be the Lord God of Israel; for he hath visited and redeemed his people, 69 And hath raised up an horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David; 70 As he spake by the mouth of his holy prophets, which have been since the world began: 71 That we should be saved from our enemies, and from the hand of all that hate us; 72 To perform the mercy promised to our fathers, and to remember his holy covenant; 73 The oath which he sware to our father Abraham, 74 That he would grant unto us, that we being delivered out of the hand of

The holy covenant was made with ABRAHAM and

confirmed with JESUS CHRIST

Galatians 3:16-1716 Now to Abraham and his seed were the

promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ. 17 And this I say,

that the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot

disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect.

Christ is the Prince of the Covenant. The covenant is the plan of salvation.

Through dead Christ confirmed the covenant

and became the prince of the covenant.

Hebrews 8:66 But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by

how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was

established upon better promises.

2 :What is grief and indignation against the

holy covenant?

It is an attempt to stop the plan of salvation that

was ordained from the foundation of the world.

Jesus foresaw this and made the following

statement: Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man

cometh unto the Father, but by me. John 14:6

What did the Pope say?

Gathers all the major world

religious leaders and says Jesus is

not the only way to God or heaven but one of the ways.

They claim Mary is one of the ways.

Pope also is another way.

3. Intelligence with those that forsake the holy

covenant. Vs 30Working together with

We are the temple of God and the Spirit of God

dwells in US.

Just as Moses’ Sanctuary had 3 Parts.

Human beings are made-up of 3 Parts.

The Outer Court - Physical Body

The Holy Place – Spirit

The Most Holy - Soul or Mind

Where is God’s Law written Today?

This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts,

and in their minds will I write them; …Hebrew

Our Minds or Hearts is the Sanctuary of

strength.

5. Pollution of the sanctuary of strength. What does this mean?

Pollution of Sanctuary of Strength simply means the corruption of the

human mind with Satanic doctrines and teachings

which are not in line with the Holy Scriptures. And this is done by

disobeying the commandments of God.

And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make

war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the

commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus

Christ. Rev. 12:17

Dragon = Satan, Devil. Rev 12:9

Woman= Church. 2 Cor. 11:2

Commandments = Law. Jn 14:15

The war is against the seed and the

commandments of God.

6. Taking away the daily sacrifice

What is the daily sacrifice?

The Daily Sacrifice is the Sacrifice we offer to God

everyday. In the days of the temple

sacrifice, the Priest offers sacrifice morning and

evening confessing the sin of Israel and reconciling

them to their Maker.

Today who is recognized as a Priest and how do

sacrifices offered?

But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy

nation…1 Peter 2:9

Let my prayer be set forth before thee as

incense; and the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice…

Psalm 141:2

The Sacrifices we offer to God is our Prayer &

Worship.

Taking away the daily sacrifice: is taking away

our freedom/right of prayer and worship to

God in purity & holiness.

7. Setting up the abomination of

desolation. Dan 11:31

What is the abomination of Desolation?

It is the setting up of the Idolatrous Standard of

Rome.

In AD 70, when Rome took over Jerusalem. The first

thing they did was to mount their flag which has the symbol of the sun god. This is their symbol of

authority and they forced the Jews to bow and worship the sun god

instead of Jehovah the Creator God.

This act was disgusting to the Jews.

The Ancient Rome is today represented by the Modern Rome (Papacy or

Catholic Church)

Just as Ancient Rome forced God’s people to bow to their sun-god.

Modern Rome will present a Christianized sun-god and force the

world to worship.

What is this Christianized

sun-god worship?

SUN-DAY was a day the

pagan Romans

worshipped the sun.

This day later became a public holiday. According

to the edict of Constantine in the 4th

Century.

"On the Venerable Day of the Sun ["venerabili die Solis"--the sacred

day of the Sun] let the magistrates and people residing in cities rest, and let all workshops be closed. --Given the 7th day of March, [A.D.

321], Crispus and Constantine being consuls each of them for the

second time." The First Sunday Law of Constantine 1, in "Codex

Justinianus," lib. 3, tit. 12, 3; trans. in Phillip Schaff "History of the Christian Church," Vol. 3, p.

380.

This was accepted and agreed upon in the council of Laodicea.

(The Council of Laodicea was a regional synod of approximately

thirty clerics from Asia Minor that assembled about 363–364 AD in Laodicea, Phrygia Pacatiana.)

“Christians shall not Judaize (keep Sabbath) and be idle on Saturday (Sabbath original), but shall work on that day, but the Lord’s Day they shall especially honor.”

Does this have any Biblical support?

Absolutely not!

Constantine commanded his soldiers to zealously

honor the Lord’s day (Sunday).

Some Christians cites the following as the change from Sabbath to Sunday:

1.Now concerning the collection for the saints,

as I have given order to the churches of Galatia, even so do ye. 2 Upon the first day of the week let every one of you lay by him in

store, as God hath prospered him, that there be no gatherings when I come…1 Cor. 16:1-2

This has nothing to do with believers gathering to worship God on SUN-

DAY.

This was a collection being made for the Christians in Jerusalem who were suffering persecution in the hands of

the Jews.

If believers were worshipping on Sunday Paul wouldn’t have asked

them to lay aside one’s gifts at home. That is what the original Greek

translation says

2.7 And upon the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to

break bread, Paul preached unto them, ready to depart on the morrow; and continued his speech until midnight. 8

And there were many lights in the upper chamber, where they were

gathered together. Acts 20:7-8

Note this:They were many lights in the upper room

till midnight.

This suggests it was not a Sunday morning worship but a night meeting.

It was a get-together meeting organized to bid Paul farewell. He planned to travel

the next day.

Remember Paul had given them instructions to set apart their collections so he won’t waste time when he comes.

One may ask, was it not their custom to break bread every first day of the

week?

The bible says; Act 2:46….And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house

to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart.

The term breaking bread is used both for holy communion

and eating common meals.

It was the customs of the disciples to break bread always.

Even Jesus who gave us the command broke bread on

Thursday.

No command to break bread on Sunday in the

Bible.

Acts 20:9-11… 9 And there sat in a window a certain young man named Eutychus, being fallen into a deep sleep: and as Paul was long preaching, he sunk down with sleep, and fell down from the third loft, and was

taken up dead. 10 And Paul went down, and fell on him, and embracing him said, Trouble not yourselves; for his life is in him. 11 When he therefore was come up

again, and had broken bread, and eaten, and talked a long while, even till break of day, so he departed. 12

And they brought the young man alive, and were not a little comforted.

The bread mentioned here is mere eating of

meal.

Now if the disciples did not gather to worship on Sun-day when did they

worship?

Acts 17:2And Paul, as his manner was, went in unto them, and three sabbath days reasoned with

them out of the scriptures.

Acts 18:4And he reasoned in the

synagogue every sabbath, and persuaded the Jews and

the Greeks.

It was his way of life or custom.

But some may argue that it was the only place

where Paul worshipped. Lets read from the

scriptures.

Acts 13:13-16 13 Now when Paul and his company loosed from

Paphos, they came to Perga in Pamphylia: and John departing from them returned to Jerusalem.

14 But when they departed from Perga, they came to Antioch in Pisidia, and went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and sat down. 15 And after the reading of the law and the prophets the rulers of the synagogue sent unto them, saying, Ye men and brethren, if ye

have any word of exhortation for the people, say on. 16

Then Paul stood up, and beckoning with his hand said, Men of Israel, and ye that fear God, give audience.

AD.45 in Antioch (1st mentioned of Christians), that was where the Jews & Gentile persuaded Paul

to speak to them.

They persuaded Paul to come the next Sabbath.

… Acts 13:42

Acts 13:42And when the Jews were

gone out of the synagogue, the Gentiles besought that

these words might be preached to them the next

sabbath…

If the early Christians were worshipping on

Sunday, this would have been a better place for

them to ask Paul to continue the following

day – Sunday.

What happened the next Sabbath?

Read Acts 13:44

Acts 13:44And the next sabbath day

came almost the whole city together to hear the

word of God.

Note that these people were called Christians.

What happened in the City of Philippi of Macedonia, where

there was no Jewish synagogue?

Acts 16:13And on the sabbath we went out of the city by a river side, where

prayer was wont to be made; and we sat down, and spake unto the women which resorted thither.

It is also worthy to note that Paul & Barnabas were in this city for

certain days but waited for the Sabbath to hold a worship service.

Acts 16:12 And from thence to Philippi, which is the chief city of that

part of Macedonia, and a colony: and we were in that city

abiding certain days.

God also gave man Sabbath as a sign?

Ezekiel 20:12Moreover also I gave them my sabbaths, to be a sign

between me and them, that they might know that I am

the LORD that sanctify them.

Sanctification is one of the phases of Salvation.

The keeping of the Sabbath sanctifies us.

He created, sanctifies and will Redeem us.

Jesus after His death was buried and rested on the Sabbath Day in His grave. He resurrected from death and overcame the power of

death.

Revelation 1:18I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive

for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and

of death.

1 Corinthians 15:55-57

O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy

victory? 56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. 57 But thanks be to God,

which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

John 11:25…. I am the

resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in

me, though he were dead, yet shall he live.

The keys of hell and of death was

obtained by Christ when he

died

Colossians 2:15And having spoiled principalities and

powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them

in it.

Colossians 2:16-1716 Let no man therefore

judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an

holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath

days: 17 Which are a shadow of things to come; but the

body is of Christ.

This were shadows of things to come.

The Sabbath rest has three application to all

believers:

First, it points to a perfect and finished

creation, which fallen humanity has ruined.

Second, it points to a perfect and finished redemption which

believers rejoice in, being reminded weekly by their

Sabbath Keeping

Thirdly, it points believers to the blessed

hope, a perfect and finished restoration.

Isaiah 66:22-23 22 For as the new heavens and

the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain. 23

And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another,

and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith

the LORD.

The Pope is now promoting Sunday as a day of rest for

all families throughout the

world. He doesn’t come up openly to

say he wants everybody to

observe it but says it is a family day for

all the world.

The ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION is officially

imposing SUNDAY SACREDNESS in all

religions of the earth. And this will be Rome’s greatest achievement.

By making all religions to worship on Sunday, the

Papacy prepares the world to accept the counterfeit Christ.

It is worthy to note that virtually all the major religions of this world

believes that a supernatural savior will soon come. And he will come to unite the world

in common worship.

According to NEW WORLD movement. Christians

knows this supernatural savior as Christ and

expects his imminent return. Jews awaits him as the Messiah. Hindus

expects him as Krishna.

Buddhists knows him as Matraya the 5th Re-

incarnation of Buddha.

Muslims expects his coming as Imam Mande

The Anti-Christ or false Christ will

appear and claim he has abolished the law of God.

The full rebellion against God’s law

would be fully ripe. But the man behind all this is Satan himself.

Men would be deceived and

believe him to be the True Son of God. He would

perform miracles and speak with a melodious voice.

But those who obey the commandments of God would not be deceived. For this false christ would turn men from the

law of God.

This false christ will cause as many as would not worship the image of the

beast to be persecuted and

killed. Great men of power in order to secure popularity and patronage will yield to a demand for a Sunday law.

By yielding to this enacted Sunday Law the

nations of the earth would have disconnected

themselves from the mercy of Jehovah.

This is when Jesus warns His followers to flee from Judea

to the mountains.

Matthew 24:16 Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the

mountains:

What is Judaea?

Psalm 114:2Judah was his sanctuary, and Israel his

dominion.

Sanctuary = ChurchThe symbol of the present day church

collection that has made merchandise of men's souls.

God warns men of the impending doom.

What about the mountains?Micah 4:1-2

Micah 4:1-2 1 But in the last days it shall come to pass, that the

mountain of the house of the LORD shall be established in the top of the mountains, and it shall

be exalted above the hills; and people shall flow unto it. 2 And many nations shall come, and say, Come,

and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for the law shall go forth of Zion, and the word of the LORD from

Jerusalem.

Mountains he represents the secret place of the

most high. The court of His presence. God’s divine

domain.

We understand that during this time many

who have been in Babylon and her

daughters will come out and join the remnant

church. This is what it means to flee to the mountains.

What does the Bible mean when it says, Let him

which is on the housetop not come down to take

any thing out of his house: Matthew 24:17?

Matthew 10:17 What I tell you in darkness, that speak ye in light: and

what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon the

housetops.

Those in the housetops are those

preaching the gospel.

Verse 18 ¬ Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.

Field here means those sowing the

seeds of the gospel in the world.

Matthew 24:21For then shall be great

tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor

ever shall be.

The great tribulation is when like the disciples of old, we shall find refuge in the solitary places of the earth. In every age,

God’s chosen people have been reviled and persecuted. But will come out more than

conquerors.

Matthew 5:11-12 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you,

and shall say all manner of evil

against you falsely, for my sake. 12

Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward

in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were

before you.

remain faithful and have a place

in His Kingdom when He comes in

Jesus’ name. Amen!
