Incorporating storytelling into our work can help us motivate our clients and our internal teams. The Art Of Storytelling will show you how you can use storytelling techniques to convey your thinking and recommendations in a more compelling manner. As a result, value will be placed on your work and your ideas driving your clients to take action. Learning outcomes will include making emotional connections, thinking difficulty, brevity, and understanding themes. Marketing In A Digital World Marketing has dramatically changed over the last 20 years. Marketing was limited to a few channels: TV, Radio, Print, Out of Home and Yellow Pages. Although those are still viable channels, consumers have embraced a digital world and are looking to digital channels more and more each day to consume entertainment and find/purchase products and services. Any business today must be marketing in a digital world, not only to grow, but to sustain. This means embracing new channels like Digital, Search and Social. Marketing In A Digital World will cover some key digital marketing basics that any small business should strongly consider engaging in to attract clients. Learning outcomes will include understanding ecosystems, content, search optimization, and social media. Presenter: Kelly Morrissy, CPE It’s Kelly! She is a one-of-a-kind free spirit who LOVES her work! Kelly has been hair-picking for 30 years now and jumps at any opportunity to enhance the world of electrology. Starting off from a small household office she has grown her business into a multi service spa. Kelly loves talking shop, whether she’s sharing one of her favorite techniques or a new magical recipe, she’s always looking to promote education and emphasizes the benefits of working with colleagues. Growing Your Business Whether you’re a seasoned zapper or a newbie just recently licensed, every electrologist wants to see their business flourish. While driving west on Maple Avenue you’ll cross College Avenue (a light) and shortly after, another unnamed light. After crossing through the 2nd light look for a small road on the left (unnamed). Look for a temporary sign for EAI just after the sports fields. Turn South. Follow the road and the EAI signs for the Krasa Center on the left side. Seminar room is on the second floor.
