OSHA requires trainers to “have the knowledge, train-ing and experience to train operators and evaluate their competence.” Safety professionals, supervisors and anyone who has the responsibility to train oper-ators will benefit from this class. Attendees will partic-ipate in discussions covering the 24 required content subjects of the OSHA standard. Participants will learn how to evaluate performance in the workplace and how to conduct the required formal training and re-fresher training.

Time: 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Lunch provided. Price: $500 / student.

Upon completion of this class your operators will have participated in OSHA compliant formal instruction and hands-on training on the proper operation of rough terrain and telehandler equipment. Class includes a 3-1/2 hour classroom session, 25 question written test and driving evaluation. Certificates of completion and wallet cards will be provided to allow you to certify your operators in compliance with OSHA regulations.

This class is designed to provide your operators with procedures on safe operation of yard terminal tractors. Students will go through a 3-1/2 hour classroom session and then complete a written test on the material covered in class. All students must demonstrate proficient operation of your equipment. Certificates of completion and wallet cards will be provided to allow you to certify your operators. This class covers non-highway tractors and is not DOT or CDL operator training. Prerequisite: valid drivers license and one year of terminal tractor driving experience.

Completion of this 4-1/2 hour class gives your employees the knowledge and training OSHA requires to operate a boom lift. Includes driving and written evaluations. Certificates of completion and wallet cards will be provided allowing you to certify your operators.

5010 How to Drive a Lift TruckThis class is for those with little to no experience who want to learn how to drive a lift truck. Students receive hands-on training on how to operate a sit-down forklift safely and efficiently under supervision in an area that does not endanger the trainee or others. Classroom instruction and written test included. Certificates and a “restricted” wallet card will be issued to students who demonstrate sufficient operating ability. Prerequisite: Valid drivers license. Time 7:30a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Lunch provided.Price: $400 / student.

5000 Lift Truck SafetyThis class is for experienced operators. Includes classroom instruction for sit-down forklifts followed by a written test and driving evaluation. Certificates and wallet cards will be sent to your company allowing you to certify your operators in compliance with OSHA regulations. Prerequisite: Valid drivers license and 1-year of lift truck operation experience.

Time: 7:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Price: $150 / student.

This class is for operators who have previously completed a Towlift operator training class. Drivers receive an update on safe operation and are evaluated to meet the 3-year OSHA requirement. Certificates and wallet cards will be sent to your company allowing you to be OSHA compliant. Prerequisite: Prior completion of a Towlift operator training class.
