Fort Kearny State Recreation Area

The Fort Kearny Outdoor Expo is committed to providing a diversity of more than 50 hands-on educational activities and demonstrations to connect youth and families to the great outdoors.

· Demonstrations & Seminars

· Kids Discovery Zone

· Historical Re-enactors

· 6,000-Gallon Aquarium

The event consists of two school days with more than 2,000 students and an average of 4,000 public-day participants. This event is free to all who attend because of sponsors like you.

This year, the two school days will be May 9th and 10th, with the public day being held on Saturday, May 11th from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
