About the Tiffany Hotel …………………………………………………………………...........................................................
Behind a well-preserved late 19th century façade whose art nouveau style remains well intact,
the Tiffany HotelTiffany HotelTiffany HotelTiffany Hotel is a delightful blend of the intimate yet convivial, boasting the kind of flair with
comfortable charm that is typical of a neighbourhood four-star hotel.
It is wonderfully situated, between Geneva’s business district with its banks, media companies
and shopping streets, and the cultural and arts neighbourhoods with their galleries as well as
museums and theatres: the Grand Théâtre, Victoria Hall, BFM, MAMCO, Musée Rath. Close by
are the narrow streets of the Old Town, interwoven with history. The Tiffany HotelTiffany HotelTiffany HotelTiffany Hotel’s guests
include business people as well as artists, travellers passing through and faithful Genevans, all
of them looking for a warm and attentive welcome.
Particularly popular is the TiffanTiffanTiffanTiffany Restauranty Restauranty Restauranty Restaurant’s authentic and
atmospheric “chic brasserie” with its creative dishes remarkable for
their panoply of flavours. The fine dishes here are the handiwork of
Alban Mestre who has been responsible for the restaurant since
2002.

The Tiffany Hotel: Art Nouveau, refreshed …………………………………………………………………...........................................................
The façade of the Tiffany Hotel is a fine example of
turn of the 20th century architecture: the beautiful
design of the balustrades, the clean lines of the
cornices, the coloured glass of the first floor
windows, still clearly visible.
Today, after of 24 months of step by step
renovations, the Tiffany Hotel is showing a new,
younger face, faithful to its original Art Nouveau
style, but with design elements freely reinterpreted,
and refined in a style that is clearly contemporary.

The interior design team of Marc Hertrich and
Nicolas Adnet felt it was important to hold onto the
strong Art Nouveau identity of the hotel, which has
always been part of its signature, while at the
same time embedding it in our own times: lighter,
more contemporary.

Floral motifs, period ironwork spirals in the stone staircase that winds around the elevator,
cornices and frescoes in the restaurant, the contemporary lighting, the “Art Nouveau revisited”
style of the Tiffany Hotel is everywhere apparent in the subtle details of the fabrics, china, lamps
and woodwork.
Rich, warm and generous colours bathe each of the 46 rooms, which have been entirely
renovated. Headboards and desktops are enhanced with the supple feel of leather, wardrobes
and tables have gold leaf-shaped handles, one of many details borrowed from nature, so dear to
the Art Nouveau movement.
The Art Nouveau tiles have been maintained in the bathrooms. Bright and evocative of spring,
the greens, blues, yellows and oranges here are lush with the curves and floral motifs typical of
this era.

Pure Herbs cosmetics, which blend plants known for their revitalizing ability, such as rosemary, lemon balm and thyme, add to the refreshing and invigorating morning wakeup effect of these cheerful bathrooms.

The Junior Suite sets the tone. Tucked under the eaves on the fifth floor, its wooden beams and
columns frame a warm living space set between the bed and the work corner. A Nespresso
machine is available. This is a warm and romantic space, a home away from home, welcoming
and comfortable.

The taffeta curtains, embroidered with dragonflies, a popular motif of the period, change in
colour from one room to the next. Cherry red, anis green or deep blue contrast with the earthy
tones of walls and furniture creating a peaceful and cosy atmosphere.

Tiffany Restaurant : a creative “Chic brasserie” menu
Alban Mestre, the chef at the Tiffany restaurant, has already been making a name for it since he
took over in 2002.
Genevans are great fans of his daily suggested fish dishes, always offered with “light” and
“gourmet” versions.
The bar has the intimate feel of an old English club and is the ideal place to take refuge for a
drink or a relaxed lunch during the week. Warm yet elegant, it’s also the perfect place for private
receptions or business lunches, reserved in advance.
