Lightway Sponsors Sino-Germany Cooperation on Pioneering World’s First Emission-Free Airfield 2013 The first technical opening ceremony of PV-System has been held on Oct. 27, 2013. This opening is to celebrate the cooperation of three parties – Geiger Engineering, Lightway Green New Energy Co., Ltd and LSV Friesener-Warte – on pioneering the world’s first emission-free airfield, and to introduce the joint development and innovation of emission-free, photovoltaic-supported drive engine technology. This ceremony has also included the simultaneous announcement of the Second Official Opening Ceremony, to be held on May 24 and 25, 2014. The three parties will go with a flying club to celebrate the opening with an attractive airfield festival.

Lightway Solar Design Challenge The inaugural LIGHTWAY Australia Solar Design Challenge has been developed to show how renewable energy can be fashionable and can take on many forms.
