• Self Inspection and Use Permit Requirements

– Annual Inspection Required for 2015

– Propose an “Approved Standard” for each tank.

• Once approved by the Marshal, this standard shall establish

the inspection and maintenance requirements for the life of

the tank.

• Tank inspectors must certify in writing has been inspected

and meets the requirements of 502 CMR 5 and is safe to use.

– As of 1/1/16 Use Permits will be issued every 5 Years.
