Geese escaping from the cold and frosty winter in Russia. We are hunting the biggest lake in Azerbaijan the Sari-Su where you can shoot unlimited bags of
this great birds. An unforgettable adventure for passionated bird hunters.
We organize our bird shooting at Sari Su, the biggest lake of the country. Sari Su has the largest number of Ducks and Geese in Azerbaijan (400-500 thousand waterfowls in the winter). The daily bag per gun is between 30-50 birds and there is no bag limit. Hunting is conducted from boats and hides. We use duck calls and decoys. A personal guide will assist every gun. Not far from the hunting area in a small forest we can also arrange woodcock shooting. The peak season is January and February.
The Duck Lodge is very comfortable, spacious and clean. The Lodge offers 4 double rooms each with 2 seprerate beds, toilets and a shower. There is a large living room with fireplace equipped with soft arm chairs and sofas. A professional cook prepares nice national and international dishes, three times a day. The hunting areas are just 10 minutes from the Lodge, so there are many possibilities for a quick brake or rest.
Program for 4 days Shooting & 5 nights Accommodation
Day 1:
Welcoming your at the International Airport in Baku. Transport to the hunting Lodge ( 3 hours ), welcome dinner at the evening.
Day 2 - 5:
Shooting in the early morning ( 5.00 ) until lunch time, after a break also shooting in the afternoon and till dark. Dinner at the Lodge
Day 6:
After breakfast our driver takes you to the International Airport for departure back home.
Price
The usual hunt is 4 days with a group between 3-6 guns.
Hunting season runs from September 15th - March 15th.
Bag: There is no bag limit - expect 40 to 60 birds a day and gun.
Price per gun: 2.450 US$
Price includes:
Welcome at Baku Airport and Visa assistance. Transport Int. Airport Baku to shooting area and return. Full board incl. drinks and lodging. All licences and documents. All hunting costs, guides and transport during the hunt. Gun rental. Interpreter ( English ). All birds.
Price does not include: Tips ( 100 - 150 US$ per gun ), Cartridges are US$ 10-15 /per box of 25. Overnight stay in Baku if needed.
To confirm the booking we need a down payment of 50% of the total amount.The rest has to be paid at arrival. Cartridges will be paid at the end of the hunt.
