The AbsoluteGrade™ PT ProgramNelacInstitute.com

WELCOME...Thank you for selecting The AbsoluteGrade™ PT Program. This new catalog features more than 400 quality products that are organized for easy ordering. In it you will find your current WS, WP, DMR-QA, RCRA and UST accreditation materials.

ABSOLUTE QUALITY...Early in 2006, the EPA NIST NVLAP Accreditation was replaced with NELAC’s oversight body. In keeping with the new PTOB requirement, Absolute obtained its PT Provider Accreditation from A2LA. Our certifications are listed on page 33 with current scopes on our web site. Absolute’s compliance with ISO 9001-ISO 17025 and ISO Guide 43 has yielded the largest scope of any provider. Later in 2006, the National Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Conference (NELAC) restructured to form the NELAC Institute. We encourage all environmental laboratories to participate in this new organization. Absolute Standards will maintain current information on its web site: NelacInstitute.com.

THE ABSOLUTEGRADE...Our PT Study’s typically yield results of 96% or better. Regardless of the type of study or analyte, the labs that choose the AbsoluteGrade™ Program are here for smart designs, stable formulations and customer service, all of which make the PT exam a routine matter.

This year, and in years to come, will surely bring some change. As in the past, you can trust Absolute’s technical competence to maintain its industry leadership. We take great pride in being your PT Provider and look forward to working with you. Our yearly schedule is listed below.

Thank you for choosing Absolute Standards, Inc.

During each study, Absolute Standards offers a comprehensive list of both organic and inorganic Proficiency Tests for Solid Waste that comply with the RCRA protocols. We thoroughly screen, extract, and QC every lot of soil to ensure that our natural matrix samples are free from any interferences. Moreover, Absolute’s soil samples are compliant with the current NELAC and Cali-fornia requirements and thus are not comprised of sand.

Absolute is one of the few PT providers to offer solid waste / RCRA samples. Our extensive historical data and proven experience in the manufacturing of Proficiency Test samples gives your laboratory the assurance that our designs are cost efficient and fit for use. More importantly, due to Absolute’s robust sample design, homogeneity is guaranteed for each soil PT sample.

Instructions for sample preparation are conveniently located at the top of each Data Report Form. Calculations are based on 10 grams of soil.SO

On-line reporting is as easy as the following steps:1. Go to www.absolutestandards.com and click on “PT Reporting” in the header.2. Choose the “WS-WP-RCRA Reporting” link or the “DMRQA Reporting” link.3. Enter Account # & Invoice # and click on the “Start Search” button below.4. Enter User Name & Password. (See paperwork provided with order.)5. A list of all of the PT’s you purchased will be displayed. Click on the Part# you wish to report being mindful of the corresponding Lot#.6. Enter the method code, reported value, and the analysis date for all desired parameters.7. Scroll to the bottom of the screen & click on the “SUBMIT” button for your results to be processed. If you are reporting a formal study, you have until midnight of the study close date to modify any results you have entered.

As always, a PT specialist is available to assist you in this process.
