For almost two decades the Lakshmipat Singhania Education Foundation has been making a committed effort towardsdisseminating wholesome education that not only aims at academic excellence but also helps develop a knowledgeable and socially responsible generation of young Indians.
By successfully establishing and running prestigious schools in different parts of the country, Lakshmipat Singhania EducationFoundation has provided thousands of students a high quality child-centric education over the years that has been designed to encourage initiative, responsibility and decision making from a very young age.
The Foundation is a philanthropic body of the multi-faceted JK Group and mirrors its undiluted social commitment. Through a wide panorama of activities, the JK Group has been closely associated with the life of the people of Bissau, Churu and nearby areas of Shekhawati region (Rajasthan).
Lakshmipat Singhania Academy Bissau, Churu (Rajasthan) opened its portals to high quality education on 18th April, 2002. Classes range from Nursery to Class XII.

Payment of School Fees.2. School fee is to be paid in advance on a quarterly basis.a. Fee installment to be deposited in the month of April, July, October and b. January from 1st to 10th of the given months.If school fee is paid after 10th of the month, late fee @ Rs.5 per day will be c. charged till last day of the month and after that Rs. 500/- will be charged for re-admission.Fees once paid will neither be refunded nor adjusted in any case.d.
GENERAL RULES AND CODE OF CONDUCT : DISCIPLINEStudents must be properly groomed and should come to school in neat 1. uniform. Boys must have a decent haircut and clean shaven faces. Fashionable haircuts are not acceptable and may call for strict action. Girls must have their hair plaited (if long). Only black bands to be used. They are also not permitted to wear jewellery or apply mehendi.
Students coming to school for any reason must always come in proper 2. school uniform and carry the Academic Planner daily with them.
Students are required to be ready with their text and exercise books for 3. theirrespectivesubjectseveryworkingday,unlessotherwisespecified.
While representing the school, students must be neat in their appearance 4. and be in school uniform. No student can attend any inter school competition without the Principal’s permission.
No student should leave the school campus during school hours without 5. prior permission of the Principal.
Students must not loiter in school uniform at any public place, unless 6. authorised.
Missing a class/ classes without the knowledge and/ or prior permission of 7. the teacher concerned or competent authority will call for stringent action.

Students are not permitted to bring excessive money, any expensive 8. articleorelectronicgadgetstoschool.Iffound,itwillbeconfiscatedand may be returned at the end of the academic session subject to the discretion of the Principal. The school is not responsible for the exchange, loss or theft of personal belongings and it is advisable for students not to bring valuables to school.
All books to be returned to the library before the commencement 9. of major examinations / vacations. The fine will be charged at1Rupee/day, if the child doesn’t bring the book back in a week. In case the book is lost or completely damaged, the student has to pay the cost of the book (as per record).
Arrival beyond the reporting time will be considered as late arrival. For 10. every three late arrivals, the student will be marked absent for one day. If late arrivals are more frequent, the student will be subjected to temporary suspension. Habitual late coming will be dealt with, strictly. The student may be asked to stay back after school hours or report on holidays.
Students are expected to be courteous towards the school and 11. schoolauthorities,includingteachers,peersandotherancillarystaffmembers.Anymisconductinthisregardwillbedealtwith,firmly.
Bullying in any form will not be tolerated and strict measures will 12. be taken against the offender. Student may be suspended for the same.
Violation of any code of conduct, disobedience or any subversive 13. behaviour in the school will lead to two written warnings, suspension and finally expulsion.
GUIDELINES FOR PARENTS :
Parents/ Guardians are required to notify the school authorities in 1. writing regarding any change in address or telephone numbers.
A letter stating the reasons must be sent if the student comes to school 2. in irregular uniform.
The 3. Academic Planner should be regularly checked for any messages/ notes from teachers and for any circulars issued by the school.
Students’ notebooks must be periodically checked in order to be aware 4. of their performance and progress. Signature of parents to be put where asked by the teachers.

Permission will not be granted to any student for leaving the school 5. during class hours unless there is an emergency in the family.
PTMs are held at regular intervals in the school. Parents are advised 6. to meet the concerned class teacher (CT) and subject teachers to discuss about their ward’s progress. Request for an alternate date and time may be made to the CT, if the parents are unable to attend the PTMs on the said dates. On other days, meetings with teachers are possible by taking prior appointments.
Please7. DO NOT CALL the school/ teachers on days when there is dense fog, suspension of public transport or any other such issues. The school will remain functional for those students who are present, unlessnotified.
Tiffinboxes,exercisebooksorothermaterialssentforstudentswillnot8. be handed over to them during the school hours for security reasons.
Parents must submit the medical history and notify the infirmary/9. medical in-charge if their ward suffers from any allergy or chronic ailments.
In case a student gets hurt/ falls sick in school, first aid will be10. administered and parents/ guardians will be informed. However, in case this is not possible, the school authorities will take the necessary remedial measures.In the quest to sensitise the students to become socially responsible 11. citizens, they may be asked to donate towards charity for various causes.
Students who participate in certain annual events of the school may 12. be required to bear a minimal share of the cost towards the same.
The role of parents cannot be over-emphasized and it is only expected 13. that they take a positive view of the all-round effort of the school,its teachersandother staffmembers for thebenefit of oneandall.Parents need to be rational in their responses and dealings, so that the congenial atmosphere and sanctity of the institution is maintained. Any constructive suggestion or even complaint from the parents shall be addressed by the school authorities with concern in ways deemed by it as appropriate.
Parents must abstain from discussing school matters on 14. Whatsapp or other social media. Any derogatory remark against the school or the faculty will be dealt with, severity. It may call for suspension or expulsion of the student from school.

LEAVE RULES :
A minimum of 75% attendance is required during the academic 1. session.
On being absent, the reason for leave must be clearly stated in the 2. academic planner if it is for one or two days or a separate leave application addressed to the Principal has to be submitted if the leave is for three or more days. In case of emergency, a leave application should be submitted to the CT on the re-joining day.
Incaseofillness,thePrincipalmustbenotifiedinwritingbythethird3. day and the anticipated time of absence should be mentioned.
Students absent from school on medical grounds must produce the 4. medicalcertificatealongwiththeleaveletter.
Studentsafflictedwithinfectiousdiseasesorexposedtosuchdiseases5. in their homes must complete the quarantine period before rejoining school.Whenthestudentrejoinsschool,themedicalcertificatewiththedoctor’sReg.No.,statingthechildtobefreefrominfectionandfitto resume classes, must be produced.
Appointments with doctors or others to be avoided during school 6. hours. Ailing students should not be sent to school. There is no such thing as a half day leave for students. An ailing student sent to school shall be sent home and will lose a day’s attendance except on the days of examination.
If a student has to leave school before 10.30 am, due to some 7. emergency, the student shall be marked absent for the day.
A student without a sanctioned leave will not be allowed to attend 8. school till the Principal gives permission.

Leave for weddings or religious functions wil l not be granted.10.
A student’s absence from school without prior intimation for more 11. than twenty days may result in the student’s name being removed from the school.

EXAMINATIONS :
Use of unfair means and / or possession of unauthorized material 1. during any examination will result in the cancellation of the examination paper or the entire examination for that student. Also a student who renders unfair assistance to another is equally culpable and will therefore share in the punishment. The grant of permission for reappearing in the examination rests with the Principal. Repetition of such an offence will call for suspension or expulsion from the school.
During examination all students must carry transparent pencil pouches 2. only. No writing boards, smart watches, mobile phones, food items are allowed in the examination hall.
PROMOTIONS :
Promotions are decided on the student’s cumulative performance over 1. the year along with other factors that are observed about the child.
Due weightage is given to both curricular & co-curricular areas.2.
A student who fails to secure promotion for the second consecutive 3. year will have to be withdrawn.
Promotion will depend on an aggregate of 40% marks secured over 4. the year in all the assessments.

EDUCATIONAL TRIPS :These are an essential part of the curriculum. They are organized once a year. All students should attend the trip. These trips enable the children to foster friendship, inculcate responsibilities besides promoting awareness. While we encourage participation in these trips for holistic development of the student and take reasonable care, all concerned factors are not under the control of the school and the school is not responsible for complete safety, security and for anything untoward during and in connection with such educational trips.
HOUSE SYSTEM : Students from class III onwards belong to the four Houses - VAYU, AGNI, JAL and PRITHVI with yellow, red, blue, and green colours allotted to each House respectively. The House system enables the student to become a responsible member of the community through participation in games and other intramural activities.
TUCK SHOP :Thein-housebookstorecaterstoalltextbooks,notebooks,files,stationeryand other educational materials required by the students.
COMMUNICATOR / SPECIAL EDUCATOR :Guidance and counselling is an integral part of the curriculum. We have a qualifiedspecialeducatorforstudentswithspecialneeds.
HONOURS :Prizes are awarded for excellence in studies, games and other co-curricular activities. Due recognition is also given for exemplary behaviour, conduct and values. Students with 100% attendance and those with regular reading, writing or oratory skills are also applauded and recognized for theirefforts.
BIRTHDAYS :Students upto class V are allowed to come in decent coloured clothes on birthdays. Children may be allowed to celebrate their birthdays by distributingoneortwochocolates/toffeesperchild.

Don’t scream or shout, reduce noise pollution.9.
For short distances, see if you can walk, or ride a cycle, instead of 10. taking a motor vehicle.
When you go shopping, buy products that have less packaging. About 11. 30 percent of the world’s garbage is made up of packaging.
Take a cloth bag along when you go shopping and refuse to use plastic 12. bags.
Stop using aluminium foil or cling wrap; they create unnecessary 13. garbage.
Apply the four R’s everyday: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle and Refuse.14.

Kriti Kalawatia
Kriti Kalawatia from the batch 2014-15 co-authored a paper on ‘Understanding Human Rights: An Insight to Rohingya Crisis’ for a book titled ‘Rights: Contemporary Debates’. She was a bright student during her school time and was well known amongst students and teachers for her debating skills. She is studying Law at Modi College, Laxmangarh right now.
Divya Agarwal
Divya Agarwal from the batch 2012-13 co- authored a book. It was a compiled work of 22 individuals and was organised by HPCL. It was published under the name “Vasishtha”.
Ajaypal
Ajaypal from the batch 2016-17 set a world record by trekking onto the Khardung La pass. It is the world’s highest motorable pass (Height-18000 ft above sea level, road distance-39.7 Km). He set the record by reaching the top “Barefoot” under extreme weather conditions. He started on 12th November 2019 at 2:30 pm, reached the top on 13th November at 4:13 pm and hoisted the Indian Flag.

Vaibhav Agarwal from the batch 2018-19 has secured AIR-31 in CA- Foundation Examination conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). He also made the school proud as he topped his batch with 95.4%.
