Project scope:

The scope of the project is to develop a fully functional software for a company.

The project developed by the students will apply the skills and methods they have acquired during the course duration and their past work experiences

Project team:

The team comprises of 7 members.

The team is expected to play varying roles from project manager to software engineer in the course of the project

Project team experience:

The team has an average work experience of 2.5 years in IT. Project duration:

We will be attached to your organization from August 2011 to March 2012. We will concurrently be attending classes during this period. To ensure the completion of the project by March 2012, we are prepared to work on weekends and public holidays.

Financial contribution:

Organizations are not expected to pay any allowance or make any financial contributions as this is part of the academic project.

Value to the sponsor organization:

Software developed by the students can be used by the sponsor organization and there are no conflicts regarding the Intellectual Property. However, organizations are strongly urged to regard this as an academic project by students.

Add value to the business as students have considerable amount of industrial experience along with different domain knowledge and are capable of undertaking real life projects.

Any emerging areas can be explored by the students.

What the students expect from the sponsor organization:

Provide access to gather software system requirements.

Review and approve Requirement specifications.

Provide clarifications in due course of the development phase.

Provide any additional hardware or software specific to the nature of the system. Timeline: ·

Typically the project starts from early August 2011 to end March 2012. Typical size of the project is 300-400 man days.
