The STEM Academy is open to upcoming Fall 2020 11th-12th graders who are at least 15 years old as of June 7, 2020, and are residents of Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina,

Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas. Students must demonstrate a good grasp of mathematics and science concepts. They must be recommended by both their Math and Science teachers.

TThe STEM Academy will focus on Biotechnology and Mechatronic Engineering.Students will be introduced to the application of Biology and Mathematics inthe field of Biotechnology. Students will also be introduced to the application ofMathematics and Engineering in the field of Mechatronics. As a bonus, ACT

preparation will be provided!
