OUR PRINCIPALS Mike Bull MRICS MIVM – Managing Director

Mike leads Academy’s team and has extensive experience across many sectors. Previously a Partner at Gardiner & Theobald, he was a team leader on the Citibank HQ building at Canary Wharf, and on the mixed use development at Cardinal Place, Victoria. He was instrumental in achieving Academy’s inclusion in framework agreements with Aviva Investors and Kent County Council.

Norman Kemp MRICS – Director

Norman has over 30 years’ experience working across all sectors. His current projects include a major new outpatient centre for the Wellington Hospital and an office refurbishment project in Reading and the conversion of Listed buildings for the London Diocesan Fund and National Trust and several educational new build and refurbishment projects.

Philip Brown FRICS – Director

Philip has over 30 years’ Cost Management experience across a wide range of sectors. He was previously a Partner at Gardiner & Theobald where he led a team of surveyors on a variety of complex private and public schemes. Philip has extensive knowledge and experience of the office market having completed over 1.5 million square feet of new and refurbished office buildings and over 1 million square feet of office fit out.

Paul has over 20 years’ experience as a Project Manager and Chartered Quantity Surveyor including management of a variety of public and private sector projects across the commercial, regeneration, education, multiple fit-out projects for blue-chip clientsand PFI sectors.
