2020-21 For Boys and Girls Born in 2013-2009 770-466-7177 Libertysoccer.net Welcome to the Liberty Soccer Club Acade- my, our developmental program for young players who are serious about soccer born between 2012-2008. Our Academy Program is sanctioned by Georgia State Soccer Asso- ciation (GSSA). Our Academy players and their families em- bark on a soccer journey preparing them for our future Liberty Select teams at the 13U age groups. Training instruction and priorities will be un- der the direction of our Directors of Coaching. The major emphasis will be on the individual player’s growth; we will focus on mastering skills and techniques first, then applying them in competition. During the season, score and standings are not recorded. It is the player’s development that will be our goal, giving them the tools to advance comfortably into the select level of play. The Academy Program is more expensive and requires a more serious commitment than our recreational program, but for players who are interested in becoming their best in soccer, it is ideal for them, especially at this early “golden age of learning.” Academy players get 4 to 5 times more soccer than recreational players. Your player will enjoy the training and games and you will see the wonderful improvement as they grow through the Academy experi- ence. UNIFORMS Liberty Soccer wears JOMA uniforms. This Fall we will have new uniforms These uniforms will be worn through the Spring 2022 season.

The Liberty Academy GIRLS AND BOYS

The Academy program is the developmental travel soccer program for children born be-tween 2013-2009. The players register to a program pool of players, unlike the traditional team roster, making up to two teams for each gender. Players move freely from team to team, not frozen to one team per season.

The emphasis of the program is not winning games and divisions, but the individual de-velopment of each player.

We have Academy teams for boys and girls. Players practice twice a week and play a home and away schedule. We will play clubs with Academy programs in Gwinnett, Dekalb and Metro-Atlanta area. The games are scheduled on Saturdays and some Sundays afternoons. Depending on the game sched-ules, players may be able to play in two games each day. The 2013-2011 birth year will play 7 v 7 and the 2010-09 birth year will play 9 v 9.

Players are put on teams by their birth year. Players must play in their own age group. All Teams will play in at least one preseason and at least one post season tournament in the Metro-Atlanta area.

When you register for the Liberty Academy program you are committing to play for one full year. (Fall 2020 & Spring 2021 seasons).
