What Analysts are Saying

“[With] the emerging Acano solution… I think we might be headed in the direction where remote collaboration sessions will be ‘richer’ and more productive than in-person meetings.”“Think of this solution as a Lync gateway (virtual server) with high “port density,” low cost, multiple apps, and a flexible business model.”

“Acano seems to be solving several pain points that have hindered video conferencing in the past… The timing is right as user needs shift drastically.”

-       A Skype user can see presence indication for a coSpace in the contact list, and exchange IMs with people in that coSpace.

-       The Skype caller can click a contact to reach a video conferencing system or an Acano client directly, or receive a call from them.

-       The Skype participant can join meetings with people that use many different devices from many locations. This includes Microsoft Lync people on their PCs, video conferencing system people at the office, and tablet and mobile phone participants from anywhere.
