In this course we introduce the concept of digital analytics

and explores its’ various major components such as web analytics, and Data Visualization in detail. In particularly,

will look at the process, contents and context of managerial decision making. This included on how the implementation

of Digital Analytics can help in improving management decisions, daily routine work and discuss issues affecting

the success of digital analytics.

Dr. Norshakirah Aziz, is a lecturer at the

Computer and Information Sciences Department at

Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS, Malaysia. She currently

researcher at the UTP Centre of Research in Data Sciences

(CeRDaS) and Data Governance Leader at High

Performance Cloud Computing Data Centre (HPCCC). She

has a total of 15 years’ experience in Academic Institutions

and in the Industry. Her Industry working experience as IT consultant and IT

Project Manager mainly on Business Intelligence, E-Business (e-Procurement)

and Electronic Supply Chain Management (E-SCM). She graduated her PhD

in E-SCM Integration & Collaboration. Her research related to Business

Intelligence, Data Analytic, Data Governance and Digital Addiction. She

currently active as trainer for Big Data Analytics and Data Visualization using

Power Bi.

Emelia Akashah, is a lecturer at the Universiti

Teknologi PETRONAS, Malaysia. She is a faculty member

of Computer and Information Sciences Department and

also attached to Data Science and Positive Computing

research clusters. She graduated from University of

Brighton, UK with a PhD in Computing in 2017. She also an

alumni of University of Surrey, UK where she obtained her

MSc in Information System. Prior to that, she also holds

her Diploma and First Class BSc (Hons) in Computer Science. Her research

interest mainly includes but not limited to Data Management, Information and

Business alignment, Data Governance, Data Quality, Information System and

sustainability. She is also currently involved in IoT and Data Science research.

She is a member for UK Association of Information Systems (UKAIS).
