IRON ACARI CONCESSION IN PERU MAGNETOMETRY GEOPHYSICAL
SURVEY REINTERPRETATION (RESUMED)
SECTIONS OF MAGNETIC INVERSION
The sections of magnetic inversion are made directly from our 3D model of inversion with
reference to our surface geophysical lines; these sections are going to show in greater detail
the most important magnetic aspects in depth and the location of our principal anomalies
and the projection of future exploratory drilling.
521 300 SECTION LINE (Figure Nº 1): This section is defined DDH_13 drilling, there are
two strong anomalies encompassed both within a zone of lower susceptibility see also
defined the magnetic contact that extends in depth.

REPORT OF QUANTIFICATION OF IRON ORE RESOURCES BY MAGNETIC
SUSCEPTIBILITY “ACARI PROJECT”
For the estimation of the volume of iron ore resources only have been considered the results
of the magnetic intensity data and distribution of sensitivities, it is noted that this estimate
is only approximate because of the irregularity of the magnetic anomalies.
Moderate susceptibility: The estimated of the volume of resources has been made on the 4
areas of moderate susceptibility as defined above. It should be noted that the volume is only
of moderate susceptibility and does not include centers or nuclei of high susceptibility.

Table No. 01 can see the obtained results while in Figure Nº 02 shows the distribution of
the 4 areas.
AREAS VOLUME (m3) MODERATE SUSCEP.
AREA 1 50.000.000
AREA 2 285.000.000
AREA 3 227.000.000
AREA 4 48.000.000
SUTTOTAL 610 MILLION m3 x 4 = 2440 MILLION TONS IRON ORES
Table Nº 01: Estimated volume for Moderate Susceptibility
Figure Nº 02: Moderate Susceptibility Areas
High Susceptibility: In this case only defined 3 areas from which the results are shown in
Table Nº 02 and their distribution in Figure Nº 03.
AREAS VOLUME (m3) HIGH SUSCEPTIBILITY
AREA 1 190.000.000
AREA 2 45.000.000
AREA 3 340.000.000
SUBTOTAL 575 MILLIONS m3 x 4 = 2300 MILLION TONS IRON ORES
Table Nº 02: Estimated volume for the high susceptibility
TOTAL = 2440 + 2300 = 4740 MILLION TONS IRON ORES

CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS
A quality control have been made of the magnetic data which have yielded results in a
mismatch in the checkpoints of 10 nT considered a high error value, so the level the data
have been made to avoid further errors.
The geophysical interpretation map of “Acari Project”, summarizes the results of our
analysis, the discussions below refer to the planes of Magnetometry, being correlated with
known geology in some areas, however the location of the magnetic bodies is based solely
geophysical results.
In the studied area has been identified 2 areas of magnetic susceptibility and a magnetic
contact (C1), the most important high susceptibility (SMA), within which there are several
important magnetic structures containing ferromagnetic minerals and structurally controlled
by local faulting in the area.
For the geological information collected for this area can be established that there is an
alteration of magnetite which gives rise to the presence of hematite, so that in some areas
previously drilled found these two minerals together as in most cases of such sites and we
are focusing our work on the exploration of magnetic anomalies which through our 3D
magnetic inversion we have also analyzed observing and determining the center of these
and the formation of a low susceptibility halo around.
According to the results obtained are established 4 drill points which are described below:
DDH DEEP DRILLING (mts)
DDH_11 2
DDH_12 2
DDH_13 2
DDH_14 2

THIS ACARI DEPOSIT WAS ONE OF PREVIOUS MINES, WHICH WAS
OPERATED UNTIL 1969 WITH FINANCING OF “AMERICAN OVERSEAS
FINANCE OF NEW YORK” AND MINING BANK OF PERU (BANCO MINERO
DEL PERU), HAVING EXPORTED TO JAPAN AND USA, OVER 8 MILLIONS
TONS OF HIGH CONCENTRATION IRON ORE, DURING 6 YEARS OF
OPERATIONS.
