Concept

• Accenture offers internship assignments both in Belgium and abroad.

• Accenture internships are specially designed to introduce final year Bachelor students to

the Accenture global way of working.

• As Accenture interns, Bachelor students learn from and are coached by highly skilled

and experienced colleagues in different professional environments and across

various platforms.

• Our interns have the opportunity to elaborate soft and language skills working in

international and multicultural teams.

• They are trained in the tools and methodologies used by Accenture for projects at our

clients.

• Interns can benefit from Accenture’s myLearning and take a variety of self-study

courses to achieve the level of knowledge necessary for their internship.

Roles & expectations:

• Interns will work as junior developers, junior business analysts, testers, junior

test coordinators, etc.

• They will be embedded in and coached by a team of subject matter experts.

• Interns are considered as junior Accenture employees and are thus subject to

Accenture’s code of conduct.

• Each intern has a personal coach who will support him/her during the duration

of the internship. Belgium/Luxembourg coaches will be present (when

applicable) during the student’s internship workshop at his/her college. For

internships abroad, coaches will be represented by a manager from

Belgium/Luxembourg.

Terms & Conditions

Latvia/Riga – Slovakia/Bratislava – France/Nantes - other countries • Funding of flights, accommodation, and use of company laptop provided by Accenture.

Mauritius • Funding of flights, accommodation, and use of company laptop provided by Accenture.

• Students should apply for a visa (approx. €700 Mauritius) and preferably hold an EU

driver’s license for Mauritius.

• Students should pass medical tests based on guidelines from Mauritius.

• Students need to prove they have a bank account with €2,5K available during their

stay in Mauritius.

Belgium/Vilvoorde & Brussels • Reimbursement of travel costs according to public transport rates (use of public

transport is preferred).

• Funding of use of company laptop provided by Accenture.

The working language in most locations is English (verbal & written) unless the project team

decides otherwise. Mauritius – Bratislava – Nantes: basic spoken French is recommended.

BE– Financial Client – OFSAA Project Ref: FY1501

Description

Our client has selected the Oracle suite of Financial Services products - including Oracle Financial Services

Analytical Applications (OFSAA) - for the standardization of group-wide finance infrastructure and business

processes. The first focus of the client is integration of the OFSAA product with its current legacy data sources.

OFSAA is an integrated suite of modular applications that sit on top of a common account level relational data

model. Accenture helps the client to integrate the legacy data sources with the OFSAA package. The Oracle Data

Integrator (ODI) tool is used to enable ETL development and 50+ data transfers between source and target

systems. For this Accenture is working in close collaboration with Oracle and our delivery centers in India.

Requirements

• You are a quick learner and can come up with good ideas with minimal input.

• You are enthusiastic and can work independently.

• Some background in (Oracle) SQL and scripting (e.g. VBA, Unix) an advantage.

Description

Accenture BeLux is on a quest to transform bricks-and-mortar retail shops into a digital shopping experience

where customers enjoy seamless interaction, both online and offline. Accenture has 2 products ready to launch

on the Belgian market:

• Connected Fitting Room: Interactive fitting room that gives advice on what items match the things you like.

• Grab & Go: A Tesco-like shopping wall as seen in Japanese and UK train stations.

These are part of a larger portfolio of technologies we want to bring to market. We will work with ibeacons, data

analytics, Google glass applications, digital signage… to create the shopping experience of the future.

Requirements • A pro-active team player with excellent communication skills, a can-do attitude and a strong interest in the latest
