Accessing SAS® Curriculum Pathways® Writing Reviser   To access SAS® Curriculum Pathways® Writing Reviser, log into the Student Portal, and click on the Learning Tools tab, located on the left side of the screen. From here, click on SAS® Curriculum Pathways® Writing Reviser. This tool is also accessible in the online classroom, under the Learning Resources tab in the left navigation.

Using SAS® Curriculum Pathways® Writing Reviser 

To begin, enter your name (required) and writing topic (optional) in the appropriate fields.  Copy and paste (or begin typing) your paper in the Working Draft field.   Copying and pasting: First, copy your paper. Then, paste it in the Working Draft field by clicking Edit, and then Paste.   Typing: You can type your paper directly into the Working Draft field of SAS® Curriculum Pathways® Writing Reviser, but remember that your work will not be automatically saved in this tool (refer to the Saving Your Paper section, below).  Click Next to view the suggested revisions.      

 

 

 

 

 

 

Note: Important information to consider as you enter your text is outlined under Setup, on the left side of the screen.   Statistics After your working draft has been submitted, SAS® Curriculum Pathways® Writing Reviser will offer a summary of possible areas for revision. Once you’ve reviewed this information, close the Statistics window to begin revising.

                Saving Your Paper If at any point you want to save revisions made to your draft paper, click File, then select Save Draft As.   Note: If you save your draft using this method, it will be saved in html format. This could cause problems later if you try and upload this document to Waypoint 2.0; the formatting would be lost. It’s strongly recommended you copy and paste your document into a new Word document and save to avoid this issue.

   Once you are completely finished revising your draft paper, click Finish (bottom‐left corner).

  Fill in the appropriate fields, Class and Comments (if applicable), and then select what information (Current Working Draft, Original Draft, Big Picture, or Statistics) you would like to save, print, or email, by selecting the appropriate checkbox. Once the appropriate document is selected, click Save, Print, or E‐mail.   Important Note: If you save your working or original draft using this method, it will be saved in html format. Again, this could cause problems later if you try and upload this document to Waypoint 2.0; the
