The powerful central controller for the Home-Icon system

integrates and controls lighting systems in any size

building.

The Central Processor operates as master controller for

Futronix dimmers, switch panels and accessories, and is

equipment, blinds, drapes, air conditioning/heating,

security and fire alarms – but unlike other systems,

customers still retain control by being able to alter levels,

20 Amp Dimmer Module

Part No: S120E, S120A

Dimmer power module designed for continuous 20A

power use. Fits inside PFX dimmer chassis.

Controls the following sources:

� tungsten, halogen, neon/cold cathode and

low voltage

� 5Kw @ 240V

� 2.5Kw @ 120V.

Integral time clock module provides cost effective

full function timer control. Timer events can be

selected to occur at any time of the day, week or

year.

Fluorescent Dimmer 1-10V Converter

Low Voltage Transformer

The Futronix range of transformers is guaranteed

fully compatible with all Futronix dimmers and

12v lamps. They are of a high quality

construction, short circuit proof and feature

leading edge, low-noise operation.

The input to the transformer is the mains supply

(or channel output from the dimmer) and the

output of the transformer is a (dimmed) 12v

supply to the lamp.

Care must be taken when choosing a transformer as some electronic ones are either not dimmable or are

incompatible lagging edge dimmable, Often these transformers originate from Continental Europe and should not be

dimmed by normal leading edge dimmers.

Fluorescent Dimmer Ballast

As well as being dimmable, the light

output is flicker free, operating at 38Khz

instead of the eye-straining 50/60Hz of

traditional wire-wound ballasts.

Futronix ballasts have the additional

benefit of being 30% more energy

efficient - even before dimming.

Futronix fluorescent ballasts can dim the

lamp down to 1%. They are guaranteed compatible with the Enviroscene & PFX range of dimmers using the 1-10v

converter card (above).

They are a high quality design with CE, BS, VDE & UL approvals and come with a 2 year warranty.

For switching loads l ike fluorescent ballasts,

non-dim loads and curtain/drape motors. High

capacity plug-in relays for easy maintenance.

Double changeover contacts for dual-motor

curtains/drapes. Inputs and outputs are easily

configurable according to function. Relays can be

switched independently, or as part of a scene, an

event or a macro.

Loads such as fluorescent ballasts can be switched

ON or OFF at a pre-set point in the dimming curve.

Mimics a switch-press for controlling AV & air conditioning equipment that requires a pulse contact closure of

variable duration. Comparison-switching, where switching only takes place when a logic level input from AV/air

conditioning equipment doesn’t match the required input from a Futronix controller, can be used with pulse

switching.

Detects movement over a wide square area or a long

narrow one. Can be connected directly to Futronix

controllers for basic energy saving. Switches lighting to a

low level when there is no occupancy. After a further delay

switch lighting OFF. Can operate as an entrance detector,

if used with an entrance detector interface. The functionality

can be custom programmed if used with the Home-Icon

system.

Futronix dimmers & switch panel outstations are visually

designed to complement each other.

They are available in a large range of styles and finishes to suit

different tastes and applications.

Standard finishes are white, brass, polished and brushed

stainless steel. Custom finish panels can be made to special

order.

Switch panel outstations operate with the P400, P800,

Enviroscene and PFX ranges. They are connected via a low

cost 4 core screened data cable (0.2 mm/7).

The window available on some dimmers and switch panels

has a built in display and a remote control receiver that allows

Futronix systems to be programmed and operated by remote

control.
