High school courses in algebra and geometry are advised, along with general business courses. With increasing competition on a global level, the need to utilize timely information for operational and strategic decision making is more important than ever and remains an essential priority for all businesses. Besides accounting fundamentals, students study applied calculus, statistics, economics, business law, business computer applications, and management information systems. Students will find a well-rounded Accounting program at Bismarck State College with faculty that teach fundamentals as well as foster the innovative thinking needed to find solutions to challenges throughout the business world.
