    Introduction

    This manual has been prepared to document the internal accounting procedures for

    the Lakeside Company. Its purpose is to ensure that assets are safeguarded, that financialstatements are in conformity with generally accepted accounting principles, and that

    finances are managed with responsible stewardship.

    All personnel with a role in the management of Lakeside Companys fiscaloperations are expected to uphold the policies in this manual. It is the intention of

    Lakeside Company that this accounting manual sere as our commitment to proper,

    accurate financial management and reporting.

    The following is a list of personnel who hae responsibilities within the accounting

    President:

    +resident.. -aking final decisions about acceptance or reection of the sales order.

    Assistant to the President:". Approes all ouchers, inoices and checks.

    $. -aintaining accounts receiable subsidiary ledger.

    %. Checks the current age of the customers accounts receiable balance.
