Upcoming Study: Who am I to Judge?
How do we talk about morality in a world that no longer believes in truth? This 8-part study program gives us an important key to respond effectively to relativism—a Catholic moral worldview. Learn how Catholic morality is all about love, how making a judgment is not judging a person’s soul, and how, in the words of Pope Francis, “relativism wounds people” and is “the spiritual poverty of our times.”
In this small group study program featuring Edward Sri, we'll explore the classical view of morality and find that it's not merely a set of guiding principles for theoretical situations—it is an entire way of life.
What is "right" and "wrong"? Is what's right for you right for me? Is there a right and wrong for everyone, all the time?
The study will be held in two Sessions. Tuesday sessions will be held at 7pm beginning on February 11 and concluding on March 31st. The Friday sessions will be held at 11 am beginning on February 14th and concluding on April 3rd. Books will be $15 each. Please sign up in the Narthex.
Please Note that the Business Office will
be closed on Monday, January 20, 2020
in honor of the
Dr. Martin Luther King Holiday
This year the theme of the Archbishop’s Annual
Appeal is “You are the Light of the World.” One
way we can show our love to our brothers and
sisters in faith is to generously respond to the
Bishop’s request for a pledge to the 2020 Appeal.
While much of the Church’s ministry takes place
in our parishes, we also come together as an
archdiocesan Church to carry out critical services
and ministries that have an impact beyond any one
parish. Your support for the Archbishop’s Annual
Appeal helps bring the spiritual and corporal
works of mercy to life in your parish as a part of
our overall effort to spread and deepen faith in the
Merciful Lord throughout the archdiocese.
Through your generous gifts, we can continue the
work we were called to do as Christians: educate
our seminarians, support our retired priests,
provide catechesis to our children and protect the
rights of the unborn. Please be generous in your
response. For more information, or to donate
online, go to archatl.com/appeal
