How?

 Watersheds from the mountains feed the seven creeks

 These creeks flow generally south

 At a point of diversion between pipes and day-lighted acequia, the stream waters are first grabbed by a Presa/Exit

 Then, it allows the water height to be maintained much like a weir

 This makes water to reach acequia madre

 From there to its point of use, each parcel of land would get fed

 Finally, the Desague channel takes any unsued water back to its source as feedback loop for the water
