PRODUCT USE A.C.H.A. is humic acid that is compatible with most acid fertilizers, providing convenience as well as a synergistic effect. Blend A.C.H.A. with an acid fertilizer when pH and soil salts are high. This product is intended to be a supplement to an adequate and balanced fertility program. Monitor crop nutrient needs and responses with a soil, leaf tissue and irrigation water analysis program. APPLICATION GUIDELINES A.C.H.A. should always be applied in combination with acid fertilizers, for soil or water run application. It is recommended to flush the irrigation system with clean water for one hour prior to system shut down. Use caution in application to assure cover- age on intended treatment areas only. Since many pesticide products can be neutralized and/or tied up by soil organic matter, it is highly recommended not to use pesticides applied directly with humic acids. Consult pesticide representative before using on a large scale. A.C.H.A. is not intended for foliar applications on food crops. Avoid contact with fruit and produce intended for human consumption. MIXING DIRECTIONS A.C.H.A. should be blended with an acid fertilizer. COMPATIBILITY A.C.H.A. has a mildly acidic pH and is compatible with most acidic fertilizers and many commonly applied nutrients and crop protection products. It is not typically suitable for blends with calcium containing products, potassium sulfate or nitric acid. Contact a Source To Source representative for a list of compatible mixes. Jar test for compatibility prior to mixing with any pesticides, fertilizers or fertilizer blends. For unfamiliar mixes, an appropriate amount of the final mix should be applied to a small area of the intended crop to ensure plant compatibility prior to the planned application. User assumes full responsibility to ensure product, equipment and plant compatibilities. When blending humic acids with an acid based fertilizer, the humic acid will solubalize. The beneficial active ingredients are still present in an acidic form, but the CDFA humic acid testing method does not test for acid solubalized humics. When blending A.C.H.A. with acid fertilizers, do not include humic acids as part of the guaranteed analysis. SOURCE TO SOURCE SUGGESTED RATES AND TIMINGS The mix rate percentage should be determined by the salinity of the field. Blend 2%-50% (by volume) A.C.H.A. with an acid fertilizer. Average application total per acre per season should range from 2 gallons to 30 gallons. SPECIAL TIPS It is recommended to shake, stir or agitate containers or tanks prior to use. STORAGE/SHELF LIFE/DISPOSAL Store in original containers at temperatures above freezing. Dispose waste at approved disposal facility. To dispose of containers, triple rinse and dispose according to local and state regulations. CAUTION: KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. Harmful if swallowed. May cause eye and skin irritation.
