Meet some of our bright SPARKs...

Amy Gosbee - First YearEveryone at ABG truly wants to see you succeed and I have felt well supported from day one. After only a couple of weeks, you are trusted to work on client accounts and begin building up a bank of experience. When you start applying it, you quickly realise just how much you’ve learnt in a short space of time, both within the office and at college.

Yasmin Grant - Third YearThe first and second year of training is quite a steep learning curve, as you have a lot of exams to get through and the work is all new, but by the third year you have a lot more confidence and can really see the progress that you’ve made in a short space of time. No two days are really the same; sometimes you are working in the office on accounts prep jobs, or assisting the tax department and other times you are working on audit as part of a team. As you gain more experience you’re given more responsibility such as leading audits and also given more complex jobs to work on.

James Ashrafi-Tari - Second YearAs a second year you realise just how much you have progressed in a short space of time. With more experience and confidence, you are given more responsibility and can start to see some new areas of fieldwork. With most of your exams out the way you spend a lot more time working on jobs, ranging from accounts prep work to audits, as well as doing some work for the tax department. Towards the end of your second year you might even begin to lead on small audits in preparation for your role as a third year.
