Long-term objectives of training initiative This training initiative should have a positive impact on your business in the long run. The expected long term benefits of this training initiative for each of the target groups (management staff, production staff) include the following: higher order thinking, a greater understanding of lean methodologies and how to apply them in different settings, and a heightened appreciation of general business principles which will serve the broader interest of all groups and the organisation overall.
Short–term objectives of training initiative The direct effect of this training initiative should include enhanced practical skills, up to date theoretical knowledge and a better attitude towards making the business more successful. The tool(s) to be used to measure any changes will be developed in partnership you’re your business. It’s expected that this training will improve the performance of participants by giving them a clearer understanding of your business long term goals and how what they will be learning, can be applied throughout the business to achieve those goals. Again, tools or KPI’s will be needed to measure expected outcomes.
