Becauseofthecleansingandrebuildingpropertiescontainedinjuices,itisrecommendedthatyouusejuicesinsmallamountsthefirstweekandthengraduallyincreaseasyoucancomfortablyenjoythem.
Vegetablejuicescanbemixed,butiffruitjuicesareadded,donotusemorethanonekind.Werecommendedthatfruitjuicesbetakenalone,betweenmeals,andatroomtemperature.

Important:AcmeSupremeJuicerator®shouldbeunpluggedfromoutletwhendisassemblingandassembling.
dISaSSembLIng• AfterremovingyournewJuicerator® fromthebox,youmaywantto familiarizeyourselfwiththepartsby disassemblingtheunitandwashing thetopparts.(SeeFigure1)
• WithJuicerator®facingyou (spoutfront),putyourhandson bothsidesofthecover.Usingthe sidearmsforleverage,pushback withyourlefthandandpullforward withyourrightturningthecover clockwise.Thiswilldisengage thecoverfromthespringclipsand allowdisengagethelidsafety interlock.
• LookintoJuicerator®andremoveclutchbyunscrewingcounterclockwise.
• Liftoutcutterblade.
• Liftoutstrainerbasket.
• Liftoffjuicebowl.
aSSembLIng• Placebowlonmotorbasehousingandplacethespoutfacingfront
betweenthetworaisedprojectionsonthemotorbasehousing.
• Placestrainerbasketinsidethebowloverthehexnut.Becertainthe strainerbasketsitsflat.
• Placecutterbladeinsidestrainerbasketwithteethup.
• Tightenclutchbyhanduntiltightorsnug.
• Ifusingdisposablefilter,insertitflatagainsttheholesaroundtheinsideof thestrainerbasket.OncetheJuicerator®isrunning,centrifugalforcewill pushthefilterintoperfectposition.
• Placecoveronjuicebowlwithfeedchuteattherightrear,gripthesides ofthelidfirmlyandturncounterclockwisetoengagethespringclipsand
thesafetyinterlock.

• Usecoolorcoldtapwaterwhenwashing.
• Thepusher,cover,juicebowl,andclutchrequireonlyrinsing.
• Cutterbladeshouldbewashedunderrunningwater,usingastiffbrush.
• Afterremovingmostofthepulpfromstrainerbasketusingaspoon,your hands,orthedisposablefilter,holdstrainerbasketundercoldrunning waterwhileyoubrushthestrainerbasketholesfromtheoutside.Afterthe holesareclean,takeadampspongeortowelandwipeouttheremaining particles.Allstainlesssteelpartsaredishwashersafe.Plasticpartsmaybe placedontoprackofdishwasher.

note:Incasemineralstainsappearafterrepeateduse,soakthecover,juicebowl,strainerbasket,cutterblade,andclutchovernightincoldwaterintowhichCascadedetergent(8tablespoonstoagallonofwater)hasbeendissolved.Makesureallpartssoakingarecompletelycoveredwithwater.
HeLpfuL HIntS WHen JuICIngTheAcmeSupremeJuicerator®isaprecisionmademachineandthefollowinghintswillhelpyougetoptimumperformance.•Vegetablesshouldalwaysbefreshandcrisp. Allfruitsandvegetablesshouldbefedintothe feedchuteasillustratedinFigure2.Feedall vegetablesinthelargestpiecespossible.With hardfruitsandvegetables(carrots,beets, celery,etc.),werecommendfeedingthrough usingahard,pulsatingunevenmotion.
• Withsofterfruitsandvegetablessuchasapples werecommendaslow,continuousevenmotion whenpushingdownthefeedchutetoallowfor theskinstobetornapartcompletely.• TheAcmeSupremeJuicerator®isacentrifugal typejuicerandbyfollowingtheinstructions aboveyoucanavoidhavingtheJuicerator® vibrate.However,ifyoudoexperiencesomevibration,the strainerbaskethasbecomeimbalancedthroughoverjuicingor improperintroductionoffoodmaterial.Stopjuicing,unplugandemptypulp.

Important facts You Should Know about Your Juicerator®
• YourAcmeSupremeJuicerator®hasapermanentlylubricatedinduction motorandshouldneverbeoiled.
• DonotputanypartsofyourJuicerator®onthestove,orintheoven.
• Allremovablemetalpartsaredishwashersafe.Washremainingpartsby handanddonotdrythemonstoveorinoven.
• Besurestrainerbasketandcutterbladearedrybeforeusing.The cutterbladeisdesignedwithafloatingactionthatallowsittomove independentofthestrainerbasket;thus,awetcutterbladeorstrainer basketinhibitsthisfloatingaction.
• Whenplacingthecoverontopofthemachine,makesurethefeedchute istotherearofthemachine.
• Afteryoufinishfeedingthroughthevegetables,allowmachinetorunfor twotothreeminutesformaximumjuiceextraction.
• Theamountofjuiceyoucanmakebeforeemptyingstrainerbasket dependsonwhatyouarejuicingandtheamountofjuicethatthefruitor
vegetablecontains.
• Foreasiercleaning,disposablefiltersareavailable.(Seecardinsertand samplesenclosed.)Filteringismosteffectivewhenjuicingsofterfruits andvegetables,orwhenmakingonlyafewglassesofjuiceatonetime.

Wehavelistedsomeofthemostpopularfruitsandvegetablesusedforjuicing.Ofcourse,indifferentareasyoumayhavevegetableswehavenotlisted,sopleaseapplythefollowinginstructionstosimilarfruitsorvegetables.
Carrot Juice–A,B,CandG
Potassium, Iron, Magnesium, Calcium, Manganese, Sodium, Silicon, and IodineCarrotjuiceisthefavoriteofmanyandcanbemixedwithmostanyotherjuicetomakeatastyblend.Carrotsshouldbescrubbedwithanylonbrush.Donotpeelorcutintosmallpieces.Leavecarrotswholeandcutthemonlyiftheyaretoolargetofitintothefeedchute.Forbestjuiceextraction,carrotsshouldbejuicedatroomtemperatureratherthancold.Carrotjuiceshouldbeconsumedassoonasitismade,butcanbestoredintherefrigeratorforusethesameday.Byaddingafewdropsoforangeorlemonjuice,itwillkeepitscolormuchlonger.

Citrus Juice oranges, grapefruit, Lemons, etc.Vitamin C, Pectin and Bioflavonoids, especially in white portion under peel.for the juicing of any citrus items, the citrus attachment should be used.
note:Whileitcanbedifficult,verysoftfruitsandvegetablessuchastomatoes,peachesandgrapescanbejuiced.However,theyshouldberunwithoutcellulosefilterandshouldbealternatelyjuicedwithfirmerfruitsandvegetables.Careshouldbetakeninselectionsuchasusingseedlessgrapesandtakingskinsoffpeachesandtomatoes.Becauseoftheirsoftness,somevibrationmayoccurandmorefrequentemptyingofthestrainerbasketmayberequired.
Important note:Thejuiceextractorwillnotoperateuntilthecoverisproperlyassembledtotheunit.

Suggestions for Juice CombinationsMosteveryoneenjoysjuiceinitsfreshformjustasitcomesfromtheJuicerator®.Ifthisisnotthecasewithyou,youcancombinedifferentjuicesinproportionstosuityourtaste.Afterexperimentingwithdifferentjuices,everymemberofthefamilywillfindtherightcombinationsheorsheenjoys.Itisverymuchamatterofindividualtaste,andideasoftaste-temptingjuicecombinationsvaryconsiderably.Vegetableandfruitcocktailscanbeenjoyedatanytime.Nothingsurpassesthemforhelpingtoquickenenergy,andtheyaredelicious,nutritiousdrinks.Herearesometastyjuicecombinationsyoumaywishtotry:

• BeforeusingtheCitrusJuicerAttachment,removecover,clutch, cutterblade,andstrainerbasketfromtheJuicerator®.Thesepartsarenot usedwiththeCitrusJuicerAttachment.
• FollowingFigure4,placeCitrusJuicerAttachmentonJuicerator®bowlwithdrainspouttotheleftofcenterfront,andturntheattachmentcounterclockwisetosecurebeneathspringclips.Besurethatthecone/strainerisfirmlyseatedintheCitrusJuicerAttachment.
• TurnonJuicerator®switch,andallowafewsecondsformotorto reachnormalspeedbeforejuicing.
• Cutcitrusfruitinhalfcrosswise.Placefruit,cutsidedown,onthe cone/strainerandpushdownfirmly.Cone/strainer will not turnuntilpressureisapplied.Cone/strainerwillstopturningwhenpressureis released.Caution: Keep fingers away from moving parts.
• Forcleaning,turntheattachmentclockwisetoreleasefromspringclips. Removetheattachment,takecone/strainerout,andplacebothbottom
