One of the biggest highlights of the ACREX India 2017: Guest Country – Turkey, represented by ISIB.

ACREX India 2017 had country pavilions hosted by Turkey, Germany and China. Besides these, there was individual participation by 25 countries including USA, UK, UAE, Taiwan, Italy, France, Hong Kong, Russia, Mexico, Sweden, Korea, South Korea, Thailand, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Malaysia, Vietnam and many more. Two new participating countries namely Russia and Hong Kong were also present.

The 18th edition of ACREX India 2017 had a grand opening with the lighting of lamps and ganesh vandana. The who’s who of the Build industry attended the ceremony. The coming together of the �ve shows of the Building industry, Build Fair Alliance, created an unparalleled benchmark.

The BFA initiative by ISHRAE with the support of NuernbergMesse India successfully brought to the forefront �ve independent shows catering to the various segments of the construction industry. This not only created the largest platform for networking but led to huge increase in the number of visitors, making ACREX India 2017 a roaring success.

As a precursor or Curtain Raiser to ACREX India 2017, ISHRAE in association with Carrier & Toshiba organized a panel discussion on 22nd February 2017 on REALONOMICS: New direction for Real Estate in Changing Environment at Hotel Le Meridian New Delhi.

The panel was moderated by Mr. Neeraj Bansal, Partner - Advisory Services, KPMG a good mix of Industry experts, government representative joined the panel discussion. The esteemed panelists were:

aQUEST - A STUDENT QUIZ COMPETITION

Among the most exciting elements of ACREX India Show, ISHRAE also organized aQuest - A Student Quiz Competition for the third time in a row sponsored by Hitachi. The quiz is primarily designed to introduce engineering students to the HVAC&R industry. ISHRAE promotes innovation, guidelines for indoor air quality & energy ef�ciency amongst other initiatives.

ACREX HALL OF FAME POWERED BY DANFOSS

The 2nd edition of ACREX Hall of Fame, an initiative of ISHRAE and ACREX powered by Danfoss. This was conceived to recognise ICONIC COMMERCIAL BUILDINGS in the Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration space. As a pre-cursor to ACREX India 2017, Roadshows were organised by ISHRAE and Danfoss in various cities across the country to promote ACREX Hall of Fame. As a �rst time initiative not only was the building awarded but all the companies involved in the developing, consulting and contracting of the masterpiece were recognised. Winner of the ACREX Hall of Fame, recognized for its outstanding contribution to the creation of a Masterpiece, The iconic EC-53 Infosys Campus Bangalore was inducted. Shobha Limited was inducted as the Developer, ARCO Consultants Pvt. Ltd, the Consultants, KNND ASSOCIATES, the contractor and UPONOR INDIA was recognised for its outstanding contribution to the masterpiece.
