AffiliationsRabbi Arthur Schneier Park East Day School is delighted to present our After School Program, Act II, for nursery through grade 5 students. PEDS licensed and experienced teachers will be facilitating many or our sessions. In addition, we are delighted to announce affiliations with highly acclaimed institutions that will be providing their own trained personnel and programs, as well as other popular, experienced “outside” personnel who will be joining the Park East staff.

The British Soccer Academy Jason Shela founded The British Soccer Academy in 2006. It has become one of the largest and most respected youth programs in New York. Jason and his staff of professional soccer instructors will transmit their enthusiasm and love of soccer straight to your children. Jason is also the proud father of two students who attend Park East Day School.White Crane Martial Arts/Sifu Eddie KleinThe Karate classes are designed specifically to teach each child on his or her grade level. They will be taught by Josh Jacobs under the auspices of Sifu Eddie Klein, a 3rd degree black belt who has been teaching Karate for 19 years and who heads various after school programs and classes throughout New York City.

Kids Fitness NYC Kids Fitness NYC was established by Elle Shindler, mother of two Park East students. She was a trainer in the Israeli Army and has adapted her knowledge into fun, children-centric programs. As a parent she understands the importance of exercise for all children and has developed many creative ways, both individual and as groups, to enhance children’s physical activity. Asana AlphabetFounded in 2004 Asana Alphabet provides high-quality yoga teachings for youth of all ages by qualified instructors. We create curricula that meet high educational standards. Each program has been test-tried to ensure both learning and fun while integrating the mind and body through effective and authentic yoga techniques. Ann Robideaux, founder/creator, is certified in Kundalini Yoga, Vinyasa, Prenatal and Thai Yoga Massage. She holds higher degrees in psychology and dance and is a recognized teacher with the Yoga Alliance. She has taught and created programs in the U.S. and abroad since 1994, most recently teaching at Princeton Day School, for WorldWideOrphans in Ethiopia and in Cambodia for Cambodia Living Arts.Take Me to the Water Swim SchoolTake Me to the Water swim school was established in 1984 with the goal of providing the finest water safety education in a nurturing environment.They strive to help all of their students become comfortable, safe, and proficient in the water by providing warm pools, professional instructors, and small class sizes.
