ABSTRACT:
This session will explore project-based learning by focusing on the questions surrounding stewardship to our planet. Creating Informational Literacy through exploration of topical reading selections, we will analyze and discuss ways to bring relevance to our classrooms through real-world problem-solving. These issues are impactful and relevant to our future; therefore, they have significant meaning in our classrooms.
We will investigate this topic through: Live interactive technology integration Discussion Writing Hand-on exploration via group collaboration and individualized learning strategies.
Information literacy

Solving the problem with coal ash, though, does not provide a long-term solution. Based on your chosen career path, you will need to determine what your role would be in not only making recommendations for the coal ash problem, but also to look for solutions to our renewable energy issues.

At the conclusion of this project, you will determine a creative way to convey your results to your community leaders, Learning Environment Leaders, Career Experts, Facilitation Mentors, parents, and fellow colleagues.
