AN 

ACT OF THE SENATE TO 

REGULATE the consumption of vodka in the Empire according to the teachings of St Prince                             Volodymyr the Drunkard  

Whereas St Prince Volodymyr the Drunkard was reported saying that drinking is                       the joy of Rus’;  

Whereas the consumption of large amounts of alcohol is absolutely essential for                       the normal functioning of a Pavlovian Rus’;  

Whereas it is the goal of this Holy Realm to recreate medieval society in the most                               authentic way possible; and  

Whereas a Decree with a similar content was passed in Pavlov in 2014 ―  

Be it enacted by HIS IMPERIAL MAJESTY THE FAITHFUL PAVLOVIAN EMPEROR                     AND AUTOCRAT OF THE ROMANS AND ALL RUS’, in the Eighth year of His Imperium and                               in the first year of the consulate of Princeps Christophoros Sclagamarus filius Drakon and                           Comes Eduardus Robertus filius Gundersovus, in the year Seven thousand Five hundred                       and twenty eight after the creation of Adam, by and with the advice of all Senators, and by                                   the authority of the same, as follows:  

I. Vodka, imported from Ukraine and Muscovy, shall be named the national drink of                         the Empire. 

II. Daily consumption of no less than 200 g. of vodka shall be compulsory for all                             Pavlovian subjects above the compulsory drinking age.  

III. Driving above the influence, or sober driving, defined as operating and/or being in                         control of motor vehicles while having blood alcohol content fewer than 0.10%, is                         prohibited in the entirety of the Empire. 

IV. Violation of this Act will be ground for revocation of Pavlovian subjectship at the                           discretion of the Monarch. 

 The seal and signature of HIM Emperor Alexander IV through which Imperial assent to the                             preceding Act of the Senate is hereby given
