CORBA interface that streamlines the
provisioning process by seamlessly integrating
acceptance testing into the provisioning
workflow. Following a service activation
request from a provisioning OSS such as
Acterna NetOptimize Service Activator, a
workflow OSS passes an acceptance test
request to NetAnalyst, which tests the circuit
using a pre-programmed procedure. Upon
completion of the test, technicians can view
detailed test results via a Web browser
interface, while NetAnalyst reports pass/fail
results back to a workflow management OSS
to complete the process.

Streamlines Trouble Management with Integrated TestingNetAnalyst facilitates trouble management by integrating testing with trouble
ticketing and fault management OSSs. After a technician creates a trouble ticket,
key circuit parameters—such as the access identifier (AID) and common language
location identification (CLLI) codes—can be extracted for seamless testing.
Following testing, detailed NetAnalyst test reports can be used to close out work
