Suggested Letter to be personalized:Dear Governor Cuomo,

I want to express my severe displeasure with Education Commissioner John King and Regents Chancellor Merryl Tisch. They are not listening to parents or educators on the need to revamp the Common Core standards, lessen the focus on testing, to make the tests public, and to cease and desist from thrusting one-size-fits-all statewide curriculum on local schools. And despite repeated issues with its testing vendor, NYSED has failed to take meaningful action, ignoring criticism from all corners of the state.

I am demanding the resignations of Education Commissioner King and Regents Chancellor Merryl Tisch. I want the NYS Standardized Tests to be made public. The current policies of the NYSED are threatening our schools and our children’s learning experiences. I cannot support you in November unless ____________________.
