Active 20-30 International

In order to serve the "world's most beautiful Organization", but especially for Active 20-30 International to reorganize the way we work in order to have a systematic and orderly growth to continue developing leaders through service to children and the community, this work plan named "Plan 2,030". This is a plan in which we can f ind a map to follow, to make our Organization the most important factory of leaders through service worldwide.

This Work Plan is developed with the full conviction that the Active 20-30 International partners will provide our Organization professional skills and experience from our daily occupations, which make us work with joy, conf idence, but especially , neatly and with one common goal to meet corporate objectives in the medium and long term. We are in an era where this new generation of Active 20-30 have many common dreams, dreams that will become a reality if we work with the same passion and joy with which we live this Culture of Life Active 20-30, contributing to the integral development of children and community of our countries.

Aware that on the backs of this new generation of Active 20-30 partners bears the brunt of 93 years of history, I am convinced that today we are all infected with mystic and enough passion to live Active 20-30 in a different way, achieving results that exceed our own expectations by working together with a horizon in common, together, as it represents our toothed saw. I want to reiterate my commitment to children, community, and especially with the ongoing training of leaders in the service of our neighbor, echoing a phrase of a dreamer, a "madman" who once dreamed of building a ... "small "amusement park; "Climbing to the top is not what’s diff icult, the diff icult part is to keep climbing " his name was Walt Disney. May the Almighty and the Blessed Virgin Mary spill abundant blessings upon you, and above all, help us accomplish our goals and leave a better world than how we found it. Keep in mind that: "The youth of today, will not be the future of anything, if today we are not the present of everything." Our job is just beginning. “The youth, to be served, must serve” and “A man never stand so tall as when he kneels to help a child”.

CULTURE OF SERVICE

"Maybe after starting our steps in the work of services to the community in which you live, there will be times when you shall stand in the way; however, do pause to collect new energy and renew the impetus, with whom! Continue walking along the paths that every day offers endless f ield of service ".

The "Plan 2,030" develops in three main areas which are: "Planning, Service Culture and Growth".

GENERAL OBJECTIVE:

To promote job planning for Active 20-30 International Organization for the purpose of generating in partner, mysticism, passion and pride in belonging to this organization and to have a presence in all countries of America in the year 2,030, transforming Active 20-30 International in the best factory of leaders through service to children and the community of the countries where we are present.

There is a way to address each of the axes of "2,030 Plan", which are elaborated below, with their individual objectives:

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVE:

Constantly review the indicators of goal achievement of the strategic lines of action def ined by Active 20-30 International, in order to know what are the priority action areas in which we must work to continue on an upward growth line.

When speaking of planning, we have to go back to the recent administrations of our Organization, since we have worked with a plan that has allowed a steady growth of Active 20-30 and today, we have accurate data about the work of the National Associations do.

During the Presidency of Miguel Mena (2012-2013), a SWOT was created in their f irst semester of management, which was presented at the International Council of Presidents in Ciudad Delicias, Chihuahua, MEX. In the second half, each National President took steps in strengthening the critical points of each national association. That year began to tabulate the money raised together, membership of the organization and was delivered in July 2013, in Punta Cana, Domincan Republic, creating a base on which the next International President would initiate its term.

It was Pablo Felipe Quintero (2013-2014) turn to run our Organization. He established the implementation of the Balanced Score Card (BSC) under the premise that "What is not measured, is not checked".

This tool has alowed us to know the real numbers about membership, number of Clubs, Total Coverage and Spot Coverage, which is basically the report of all that work during the administrative year of Active 20-30, with the following results numbers:

Currently, Evan Hershey (2014-2015) has asked the National Associations to develop a Strategic Restructuring Program which involves the identif ication of Values, Mission and Vision of each National Association, in order to implement a strategic plan of compliance goals that will be developed by the next International President, Antonio Araúz. It is important to mention that the Strategic Restructuring Program was conducted by the National Association Active 20-30 El Salvador during the 2013-2014 period in which this server had the honor of being National President.

The idea of an orderly and systematic planning of our Organization is aiming for our children and nephews to enjoy a strong Active 20-30 worldwide as the largest factory of leaders through service to children and community in the countries where we are present, to build for them the "Home" we want.

The method of planning and monitoring the work of the International Organization Active 20-30, develops the tools that are presented below:

Strategic planning Active 20-30 provides a framework for establishing a vision, with corresponding targets, which must be constantly evaluated and modif ied as needed. This guide and additional work sheet will serve as a starting point for the development of its strategic plan. Although the guide was designed for the International Organization, both National Associations and Clubs may adapt it according to their circumstances. In the strategic planning session, participants will f ill in the worksheet independently or in groups. The facilitators of strategic planning session should familiarize themselves with the material and organize the program before the session. Most of the program should be devoted to the second and third stages of the planning process, pointing to the future, and less time analyzing the current situation of the club.

En el proceso de planif icación estratégica es importante: In the process of strategic planning it is important to: Involve active, former and future members. Include the Club in full to have a wide range of perspectives. Invite a facilitator, or a small group of facilitators, to lead the strategic planning sessions, preferably people without bias or preconceived ideas. Analyze club goals to determine if they are aligned with the goals of the National Association and the priorities and objectives of the International Organization. Update the plan every year, modifying strategic priorities and annual goals as needed.

When developing the strategic plan, you should include the Club’s members in the following procedural steps. (Write down your ideas on the worksheet).

1. ¿What is the Club’s situation? Make a list of the Club’s strengths and weaknesses. Prepare a list of the opportunities and threats present in your community.

2. Where do we want to go? Prepare a list of 5 to 10 elements that you would like to characterize your club within the next three to f ive years. In one sentence, formulate a declaration of the vision that describes the Club and where would you like to be in the next three to f ive years. This is an individual and a group activity. Finalize the version of the vision with your group, and make sure that you have every member’s support.

3. ¿How can we get there? Establish strategic priorities to help the club achieve its vision. Keep in mind: The Club’s strengths and weaknesses Active 20-30 International’s programs External environment Memberships Three to f ive years to achieve your strategic priorities In a group, determine the key strategic priorities, the greatest impact on the work of the Club towards achieving our vision. Establish annual goals for each of the key strategic priorities. Set deadlines and determine which group of people and resources will be needed to meet the annual goals.

4. How will we evaluate our progress? Forming a strategic planning team to regularly assess the progress made and recommend any necessary changes. Allocate the resources required to implement the plan. Frequently evaluate the aff inity of decisions making sure they are aligned with the plan, and make recommenda-tions to the strategic planning team on the implementation of these. Annually update all Club members the strategic plan and the vision statement, as well as the annual goals, and making the appropriate modif ications. Repeat the entire strategic planning process every three to f ive years to develop a new plan or to keep the current one.

CULTURE OF SERVICE

Oscar GiraltCandidate for Elect International President 2015-2016

Active 20-30 International

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVE:

Provide Active Membership International 20-30, suff icient inputs for each of the members of the Organization, for each to develop in the calendar year at least one campaign or charitable project.

We need to strengthen our organization starting from the basic level, i.e. "club up". Each Active 20-30 Club should consider what you they are doing and implement new strategies and techniques for all its members to give new impetus to the Club. The goal is for our clubs to have better focus, direction, purpose and passion. The old expression "If you do what you've always done, you will continue to have the same results as usual" is very successful. If we want better results, we need to try new ways to get them.

It is important to recruit new members, as it is important the retention of members, new clubs and established clubs. The new partners are in a vulnerable position. As would a good host when they have guests at home, we must make them feel welcome. Each Club must practice the same. The Club should be like a home. The partners should be treated as family members. This will make new members feel at home, and that the members who have been part of the Club for a longer period of time feel harmony when visiting this house, that respect and decency prevail in interpersonal relationships of all Active 20-30. We must ensure that all partners have a good experience and that their ideas are considered.

We must be aware that Active 20-30’s blood is its members, and that the air our Organization breathes are the smiles of the children to whom we dedicate our work.

But ... How can we live this "culture of service" to the fullest, and above all, make new members or outsiders Active 20-30 live it as well?

All members must commit to performing at least one campaign or project per year.

We are, to date, 2,293 members in the Organization. What if we accomplished 2,293 projects for children and the community per year? THAT WOULD BE AWESOME!!

Do you think we can do? Is it diff icult? I dare to ask “What if we try?” We have much to gain by trying. Campaigning at least once per year, in which we benef it children or a group of people who really need it, would be a challenge that I think hardly any other organization in the world has done. But since Active 20-30 members are committed to

leave a better world to how you received it, I am sure we will accept this challenge with the clear intention of making a difference.

Now, if each member is committed to perform a campaign, the International Board will provide a variety of projects for each member of the International Organization to choose from, and develop them in the best possible way according to their geographic area.

It is time to share our work methodology to contribute to the enhancement of our Organization, because TOGETHER WE ARE ONE, TOGETHER WE ARE THE 20-30 REPUBLIC!

This will be a major success if we commit to attend the campaigns, to join them and have a close contact with the benef iciaries. When working, especially with children, it will not be tedious to go to meetings, since our work will produce more smiles and improve the lives of those who are less fortunate than us.

GROWTH

Oscar GiraltCandidate for Elect International President 2015-2016

Active 20-30 International

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVE:

Support the growth of the clubs of the Organization in all the countries of the American continent, within 15 years.

In recent years, we have seen the diff icult situation Clubs and Associations have gone through regarding membership. We have also been part of the discussion on the expansion of the International Organization, resulting in the successful opening of a Club in Guayaquil, Ecuador, and soon the creation of the Active 20-30 National Association of Ecuador with the addition of the new Active Club Salinas 20-30.

It is not easy, you have to have people who lead the strengthening and expansion projects in each of the Clubs and Associations, but especially we need to count on the support of governmental and / or global entities that can rely on the idea of expanding Active 20-30 International.

Because of this, it is necessary to take a risk and make decisions that the Organization will take advantage of in the future. This is why I am committed to allocate the annual budget of the Organization, in the growth of Active 20-30, offering support to clubs with challenges and opportunities to the National Associations for growth thereof, thus complying with the expansion of Active 20-30, with the understanding that our will is greater than our dreams, and therefore we will achieve that by the year 2,030, Active 20-30 has a strong presence in all regions of our country and across America.

All this is achieved by working neatly part number one this work plan (Planning) and if we focus on setting common goals that exclusively benef it Active 20-30 through part number two (Culture of Service).

To start building this dream, we must have media exposure in the countries where we operate; it is necessary to generate expectations about what Active 20-30 International entitles. We will achieve this through interviews in strategic programs such as CNN, alliances with ESPN and/or Fox Sports. The International Board of Directors needs to manage the support from radio and major national and international television chains in order to show our “Service Culture”, in order to encourage many people from different backgrounds to join the "the most beautiful in the world Organization".

Today, I can guarantee that Marcelo Soto, Minister of Youth of Paraguay, and Juan Carlos Reynoso, Member of the Central American Parliament and leader of a major NGO in Guatemala, want us to come to their countries to plant the Active 20-30 seed.
