We keep mentioning quads and quad leaders and some of you haven't a clue

what we are talking about. The resort is divided into four sections, quads, by

Apache Plume, the road through the gate, and Desert Wash. The roll of the

quad leader is to be a source of information for resort activities, events or any

question you may have about the resort. They really are the go to person in

your area. They are very knowledgeable, but realize they may not have the

answer to your question. They are expected to know where to get the answer

and get back to you. Please use them if you have a question. Quad 1 is lot

numbers 1 – 70. Quad 2 is lot numbers 72 – 170. Quad 3 is lot numbers 171

– 266. And quad 4 is lot numbers 267 – 398.

Take the time this month to seek out a volunteer, that you don't normally run

into, and tell them what a good job they are doing. This resort is a beautiful,

busy, clean, fun place because of the army of volunteers that work behind the

scenes. Did you know that we have 25 weekly activities lead by willing and

enthusiastic volunteers?

Now get ready for February. On the 3rd Wade Hammond entertains us with

classic hits of the country legends from the 50's to the 80's. Tickets are $15

on Ticket Tuesday and $20 at the door. On the 4th enjoy the super bowl with

your resort friends. This will be in the Activity Center foyer. On the 13th is

Fat Tuesday. Dance your evening away with Art Michaud. On the 25th you

can tour various casitas in the resort and get ideas for your own. A sign up

sheet will soon come out for those lot owners willing to show their casita.

Participating lots will be identified with a balloon. On the 18th and 19th is the

legendary battle of the sexes card tournament. If the rumors are correct the

women have out played the men in more than one tournament.

If you have bought a ticket for one of our events and you find that you are un-

able to attend, remember you can sell that ticket to another person. All you

do is put their name(s) and lot number on the back of the ticket and sign your

name. We realize that illnesses happen and plans change so keep this in

mind.

I hope all of you are having an enjoyable season and are as busy as you want

to be.

Fritter Fr iday

Toy/Food Drive thank you!

Please join us for Fritter Friday. Cost is $1 for a fritter and coffee. Please come join us in

the Clubhouse from 8:30 to 9:30

The Interagency Council posted this on their Facebook recently. We are

so proud of HRVR owners/renters.

Thank you so much Havasu RV Resort for your recent food drive

collecting 984 pounds of food.

Sock Hop Update

The Sock Hop committee would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Wes and Moe Whitworth, lot 324, for providing all the decorations for the “Sock Hop/Remembering the 50’s and 60’s” party. They have now donated those decorations to the resort. Their generosity is greatly appreciated!

Casita of Dreams Preview

Fat Tuesday

CASITA of DREAMS PREVIEW

When: Sunday, Feb. 25th

Where: Any lot in the resort with a balloon on the lamp post

Time: Anytime between 12:00pm and 2:30 pm

If you would like to have an “Open House” to show your casita, sign up in the office. A sign-up

sheet will be available from (Mon) Feb. 12 UNTIL (Fri) Feb 23. This is great advertising if you are

planning on selling your lot!

Also, what a perfect way to share your ideas with others! There will be a $1.25 fee for a balloon to

mark your lot. YOU ARE WELCOME TO OFFER REFRESHMENTS TO YOUR VISITORS IF YOU

CHOOSE!

If you would like to visit the beautiful Casitas in our resort, go to any lot that has a balloon tied to

the lamp post during the designated time frame. What a great way to help you plan and design

your own Casita!
