Boot Camp Description
If you have a desire to help your community, your home, and your family through medicine, we want to help you with the medical school admissions process. The experience is a four-day, intense preparatory course for the admissions process. The Admissions Boot Camp was developed by the admissions office of the UK College of Medicine to remove barriers faced by rural students applying for medical school. This program gives you an insider’s glimpse of the medical school admissions process, with tips from the Associate Dean of Admissions and the Assistant Dean of the RPLP. If you are attending a Kentucky College or University and you wish to practice rural medicine, this program can help you.
Boot Camp participants practice suturing.
