ACTIVITY – Know more about me
Divide the class into different groups. Name each group with animal name. Give one day to the children to collect information about that animal on these lines:-
1 Size 2 Place where it lives 3 Shelter 4 Young ones 5 Sounds etc.
Each day two groups are asked to speak on the animal assign to them.
After all the groups are presented you can give different worksheets based on the concept given above.

TOPIC –OUR HELPERS
ACTIVITY 1 What do I do ?
Select a few names of our helpers in the neighbourhood, example, doctor, cobbler, teacheretc.
Write one name on each slip and spread all the slips on the table. Ask some 3 children to pick up one slip each.Each child read out the name of helper they got in the slip. The other children are asked to tell them about their work.
ACTIVITY 2 What do I use to do my work?
Some cut outs of tools made out of card board may be given to children. Help them to Identify the person who uses these tools and enact the work done using these tools.
