National FBLA March of Dimes Awareness

FBLA is the national partner of the March of Dimes and it stresses the importance of

funding research through local fundraisers and events. The mission of the March of Dimes is to

help moms have full-term pregnancies and research the problems that threaten the health of

babies. In local communities across the country, we're helping moms take charge of their health,

and supporting families when something goes wrong. The March of Dimes also acts globally:

sharing best practices in perinatal health and helping improve birth outcomes where the needs are

the most urgent. On national FBLA March of Dimes day, the fellow members of Morrow High

School got together and held an assembly for the entire school to aware them what the March of

Dimes is. Through this successful event, members were able to raise money and inform the

public, teachers, and student body. The event had presentations, skits, singing, crying, dancing,

and live speakers from the March of Dimes headquarters as well as mothers who had babies that

were premature.
