It’s up to you what you draw with these challenges, it can mean something different for you than it might be for someone else. Use different forms if you have them paint, pencils, felt tips, chalk, crayons. These can be helpful to layer up and bring texture if they suit your drawing.

Forget the long, smouldering afternoon. It is this moment when the ball scoots off the edge of the bat; upwards, backwards, falling seemingly beyond him yet he reaches and picks it out of its loop like an apple from a branch, the first of the season.

Make Salt Dough tags You will need: 2 cups of flour 1 cup of salt 1 cup of water heart cookie cutters rolling pin stamps ink pad bamboo skewer or straw to make hole in tags ribbon sandpaper

1. Combine the flour and salt in a bowl and add the water. Mix until you form a dough.

2. Roll out the dough using the rolling pin until it is the thickness of a £1 3. Press the stamp into the dough to make a pattern 4. Use the heart cutter to cut out heart shapes 5. At the edge of the heart shape press the straw until it goes all the way

through 6. Bake in the oven at 100 degrees C for 5 hours 7. Wait to cool 8. Sand the edges down with sandpaper 9. Push the ribbon through and tie. 10. Use as gift tags or to let someone know you are thinking of them

Stretch Stretch your arms up as much as you can. Stretch your arms to the side then the other. Stretch and touch your toes. Stretch out your legs Repeats 3 times
