PREFACE

All Acts and Regulations in force in the State of Maharashtra including theunrepealed Acts and Regulations of the former State of Madhya Pradesh andHyderabad, which are not unified and are still in force in the Vidarbha and theHyderabad areas of the State of Maharashtra, are indexed in this publication, bothalphabetically and subjectwise.The earlier publication modified upto the1st May 2011 is now modified upto the 31st March 2015.

2. The Alphabetical list has been divided into three Parts and a separate PartIV has also been made for subjectwise Index, as follows :—

Part I contains a list of Regulations and State Acts, enacted during the periodfrom 1799 to 31st March 2015 and in force in the State of Maharashtra.

Part II contains a list of local Acts of the Governor-General in Council in forcein the State of Maharashtra.It also includes unrepealed Regulations.

Part III contains a list of State Acts, which amend unrepealed Central Actsin their application to the State of Maharashtra, or apply them uniformly to thewhole of the State of Maharashtra.

Part IV contains Subjectwise Index of State Acts and Regulations in forcein the State of Maharashtra.
