Training an Individual Word

Sometimes, Dragon will make a transcription error for a word that exists in the Dragon vocabulary. Since the word is avaible in Dragon’s vocabulary for transcription, you will only need to train Dragon regarding your pronunciation of the word. This tip sheet is intended to teach you the process for training your pronunciation of words that exist in the Dragon vocabulary.

How to Train an Individual Word

To train your pronunciation of a word that exists in Dragon’s vocabulary, complete the following steps:

1. Open the Words drop down menu on the Dragon bar and select Train.

2. Type the word that is being misrecognized, and click the Train button.

3. Click the Go button, and WITHOUT TOUCHING ANY BUTTON on the PowerMic, say the word as you intend to say it when dictating into the microphone.

· If the Training Indicator light did NOT flash green, repeat this step by pressing the Go button again.

4. Click the Done button when you have finished the training process.
