ATMOS S 041 Wound
Sensor-controlledwound drainage
Technical data
The advantages
Accelerated wound healing thanks to the intermittent function
The intermittent function makes it possible to adjust the periods of active suction control and of no active suction separately. This permanent alternation encourages blood fl ow and with it granulation of the tissue is improved.
Everything under control: the microprocessor con-trolled vacuum-precision adjustment
A highly sensitive, micro-processor controlled sensor measures permanently whether the vacuum values set on the ATMOS S 041 Wound is actually applied. An adjustment is made at once if the value is not compliant. More safety for both patients and personnel: if the vacuum drops below a pre-defi ned critical range, the alarm will be activated immediately.
Manual and automatickey lock
Especially with mobilised patients in their homes it is necessary for safety reasons that the values set on the ATMOS S 041 Wound for fl ow or intermitting - inter-val are not unintentionally adjusted or manipulated. If the device has been para-meterised, it will be locked manually by the nursing staff. If this has been forgotten, the device will lock automatically after a specifi c time and can then only be made accessible again by specially trained personnel.
The lightweight
Due to the outsourcing of the power pack, the engineers at ATMOS have also created several benefi ts for the patients: the weight of the ATMOS S 041 Wound has been reduced to ca. 2 kg, the charging time for the accus has been reduced, the life span of the accus has been extended. For increased and “light“ mobility.

Everything from one source. The solution for more freedom of movement.
ATMOS S 041 Wound
Compact, competitively priced and high performance: the sensor controlled wound drainage.
What should you do to combat prolonged bed rest time and insuffi cient success in treatment? The problem with wounds that are diffi cult to heal is the duration of the treatment: high costs
arise for the health system in the domestic as well as in the clinical environment as a result of the
delayed healing of wounds. The goal: a rapid patient mobilisation, fewer changes of dressings as
well as effective wound cleansing and healing.
The solution: ATMOS S 041 Wound. ATMOS has developed the accu-operated
ATMOS S 041 Wound to achieve a rapid mobilisation of patients suffering from wounds.
Thanks to the tare weight of only 2 kg and an operation time of up to 24 hours, the ATMOS S 041 Wound enables unrestricted freedom of movement.
Moreover, with an aggregate performance of 8 l/min and a maximum vacuum of -200 mmHg, the ATMOS S 041 Wound possesses adequate capacity, even in diffi cult situations
The optimum treatment of wounds
The Dressing Kit that is supplied together with the ATMOS S 041 Wound con-tains all components that the nursing staff requires for the treatment of wounds.
The insertion of the drain in itself is extremely simple and comfortable:
1. Cleansing of wounds in accordance with the relevant clinical standards and directives.
2. Cut the non-adherent dressing to the size of the wound (H).
3. Insertion of the saline-saturated gaze in the wound. (G).
Light in weight, strong in the performance, mobile in application!
4. Positioning of the drainage tube tailor-made to match the wound. (C).
5. Fixation of the drainage tube by means of adhesive mass. (E).
6. Complete fi lling of the wound bed with saline-saturated gauze. (G).
7. Generous application of the transparent fi lm. (B).
8. Air-tight sealing of the exit port of the drain by means of x-shaped attachment of the waterproof adhesive strip. (D).
9. Connection to the connecting hose of theATMOS S 041 Wound (A).
After the Dressing Kit has been positioned correctly in the wound, the drainage tube must only be connected to the connecting hose of the ATMOS S 041 Wound
and if required vacuum values and intermitting intervals must be adjusted - that‘s it!
The Dressing kit The nine steps for an optimum wound treatment
For the fi rst time we provide four dressing kits at an extremely fair price for the ATMOS S 041 Wound which contain all necessary components for the wound treatment.A Connecting hose E Adhesive massB Self-adhesive foil F SalineC Drain G GauzeD Adhesive strip H Non-adhesive dressing kitThe Dressing kits are different regarding the type of drain and the quantity of the individual components!
