The addendum is hereby made part of the Contract Documents to the same extent as though it were originally
included therein. Refer to "Bid Form" for acknowledgment of addenda.
All Contractors, Subcontractors and suppliers are reminded that they shall be familiar with all addenda items
(as well as all parts of the construction documents) so as to understand the extent of their work and its
interrelation with other trades.
To all bidders for furnishing all labor and materials necessary for the following contract:

PRIOR APPROVALS

satisfies all requirements of the specifications and contract drawings.

Section 01 50 00 – Temporary Facilities and Controls
Refer to detail ADD2-D2 attached to this addendum for additional information regarding phasing the scope of work
and contractor staging area. The successful proposer will be expected to work with the owner to determine the exact
location and size of the staging area as well as construction fence location, configuration, size, and length. Safety of
students, staff and visitors, as well as access to parking for athletic events will be considered when identifying the
final configuration of construction fencing and contractor access to the work areas. Construction fencing may need
to be reconfigured periodically to accommodate construction sequencing and the owner's requirements for safety and
access.

Section 09 30 00 – Tiling
1. Line 2.01.C.6.c, no more than 20% of the floor tile area will be accent tile. Pattern will be provided during
color selection process. Wall base tile will match filed tile color.
2. Line 2.01.D.6.c, no more than 20% of the wall tile area will be accent tile. Pattern will be provided during
color selection process.

General note 3, floor prep includes leveling of existing floor slabs as required to install new ceramic tile finish over
existing floor slabs. Refer to attached Exhibit 1 for existing floor finish elevations.

Sheet A102 – Floor Plans Demo & New Construction - Music Wing
1. Keyed Note 02 41 00.23, revise on this sheet only to read "Remove existing wall finish, tectum panels,
gypsum board, furring strips and insulation board. CMU wall to remain."
2. In the demolition floor plan, at rooms STO xMU-4B, BOYS xMU-4C & GIRLS xMU-4D, add keyed note
02 41 00.23. Intent is to remove all the existing interior finish from the interior CMU walls where occurs.
3. Keyed note 02 41 11.24, the existing risers are 4" concrete, steel reinforced, earth formed below.
Contractor will need to remove concrete risers and earth fill as required to install new floor slab. Refer to
structural.
4. In the demolition floor plan, at room UTILITY xMU-5, add keyed note 02 41 00.20.

1. Install roof drain crickets at each roof drain on the new and existing building roof. Refer to detail ADD2-
D1 attached to this addendum.
2. Provide roof drain crickets at all rooftop mechanical equipment curbs and other rooftop equipment, refer to
roof plan general note 13 and mechanical.
