A2.2. MARK DESCRIPTION

a) “FINISHING MARK”, “LIMA”, “TANGO” and “ZULU”, are white pyramidal inflatable buoy, b) “MARK UNIFORM” is a yellow beacon; c) all the other marks in the different courses will be a RC service boat. d) The RC service boat will display an orange flag and a letter “M” (Mike), repeated sounds will not

be made, this changes RRS 34(b). A2.3. THE MARKS (S) after the name of the mark means that the mark is to be rounded to starboard. (P) after the name of the mark means that the mark is to be rounded to port. A2.4. POSSIBLE WINDWARD MARK A windward mark may be laid at about 1 to 3 nm from the starting line. The RC, before the warning signal, will display a green or a red flag signaling if the mark shall be left to starboard or to port. A2.5. FINISHING LINE The finishing line will be a straight line on a bearing of 205° from the finishing mark (see diagram). Alternative finishing line (at “ZULU”) will be a straight line between a staff displaying a blue flag on the RC vessel on the right side and the white mark “ZULU” on the left end.

A.3 RESTRICTED AREAS A.3.1 A boat racing shall neither enter nor sail in the exclusion zones at A3.2.a and b, also defined in the “dm 13_06_2000” (see the attached map see next page). For a breach of this rule the Race Committee shall score the boat as DSQ, without a hearing. This changes RRS 63.1 and A5. A breach of this rule shall not be grounds for a protest by a boat.
