This addendum forms a part of the contract documents and modifies the original bidding documents

dated 01-16-15. Acknowledgement of this addendum is required in the space provided on the bid form.

Failure to do so may subject bidder to disqualification.

Item A5-1 (Change in Scope): Please note that OG&E is going to bring the new transformer closer to the new building than previously thought. Please refer to attached SD-3 showing the new transformer location. The meter will be at the transformer, and the contractor is responsible for all conduit and wiring from the transformer to the building, and ofcourse throughout the building.

Item A5-2 (Clarification): Please see SD-2 for clarification of metal wall panels that are needed at the north elevation.

Item A5-3 (Clarification): Please note that the water at the existing hydrants on campus was tested recently, and the flow rate was 750 gallons per minute, with a 100 psi at the main line. The main line is a 6” line.

Item A5-4 (Clarification): Please see attached separator fabric spec, for the separator fabric that is mentioned in the civil drawings.

Item A5-5 (Clarification): Please note that the Contractor will be responsible for providing concrete slump test, as well as 7, 14, 21, and 28 day cylinder compression tests to ensure that all concrete meets the specifications for strength. Contractor will also be responsible for providing compaction testing of new soils after they are placed, to ensure that compaction and brg. capacity are met.

Item A5-6 (Change in Scope): Please note that the glass used at the trophy cases shall be changed to a 3/8” tempered.

MECHANICAL

1.1. REFER TO SHEET M100, FIRST FLOOR MECHANICAL PLAN:

1.1.1. Rotate units AC-1, AC-4 and AC-9 180 degrees at present location. The supply ductwork at these units shall connect to the horizontal discharge of the packaged unit. The return airflow path for these units shall be through the vertical discharge of the unit.

1.1.2. All remaining packaged units (AC-2, AC-3, AC-5, AC-6, AC-7, and AC-8) shall have both the supply and return ductwork connections made at the horizontal connections of the units.

1.2. REFER TO SHEET M300, GROUND MOUNTED EQUIPMENT DETAIL: 1.2.1. This detail shall only apply to units AC-1, AC-4 and AC-9. Delete

the requirement for a supply duct connection at the provided curb. Only the return ductwork will connect through the curb at these three units.

1.3. REFER TO SHEET M400, AIR CONDITIONING UNIT SCHEDULE:

1.3.1. Modify accessories note ‘d’ to read, “Provide a factory assembled, 30” tall mounting curb with horizontal return opening for units AC-1, AC-4 and AC-9. Curb shall be 100% sealed to be used as return plenum. All remaining units shall receive a standard manufacturer’s curb which raises the outside air intake a minimum of 18-inches above grade”.

1.3.2. The following manufacturers are approved to bid the project. This list does not constitute the approval of any specific item or equipment. Final approval of any product shall be made during the submittal review phase of construction. All manufacturers listed below will be expected to provide equipment that is equivalent or better than specified in the contract documents. The contractor assumes all risks for not providing equivalent or better products including but not limited to modifications to screen walls, ductwork routing and electrical requirements.

2. ELECTRICAL

2.1. REFER TO SHEET E100, ELECTRICAL POWER PLAN:

2.1.1. All horn/strobes on this sheet shall be speaker/strobes for voice evacuation.

2.1.2. The fire alarm strobes in rooms 114, 119, 129 and 132 shall be weatherproof.

2.1.3. Relocate the strobe in 113 to the vestibule outside of room 110. Relocate the strobe in 118 to the vestibule outside of room 120. Relocate the strobe in 128 to the vestibule outside of room 125. Relocate the strobe in 131 to the vestibule outside of room 133.

2.1.4. Provide a speaker/strobe in rooms 113 and 131. 2.1.5. Provide a smoke detector above the FACP in room 117.

2.2. REFER TO SHEET E101, ELECTRICAL POWER PLAN:

2.2.1. Provide a wire guard for the 8 speaker strobes in 104, 105 and 106. 2.2.2. Provide a manual pull station at the exterior doors in 102 and 103. 2.2.3. Provide a speaker/strobe on the west wall of Stage 107. 2.2.4. Provide a weatherproof horn/strobe on the west exterior wall

outside of Mechanical 108. 2.2.5. Provide duct detectors in both the supply and return ductwork of

mechanical units AC-5 and AC-6.

2.3. REFER TO SHEET U100, UTILITY SITE PLAN: 2.3.1. Relocate the utility transformer from location shown to green space

at north corner of the building. Refer to the attached SD-3 for the new location of the transformer.
