MX – dependence of the diffractive cross-section at constant W
Q2d/dMX shows a rapid variation with Q2
at low MX .
Q2d/dMX tends towards a common valueat higher MX .
This kind of scaling behaviour is reachedonly at higher MX for higher Q2 whenMX
2 becomes of the order of Q2 .
